Daniel asks…
What Color Should I paint My Room? (Pictures included)?
The walls on my room are as white as me and have been since I was a child. However I beginning to think its time for a change. A lot of my furniture, drapes, and sheets are dark, primarily blue and brown. My carpet as you can see is a light brown.
Now I've been thinking in general colors, either blue or green. However my sister recommended brown.
I'm just not sure.
Please help me IDK what to do. Reccomendations from interior designers to the little guy or girl is welcomed.

OK, this might sound a little weird coming from a teen girl, but I think you should paint your room something masculant like Navy Blue. If that is a little bit to dark for you, you should try a blue that isn't that dark but isn't light. Now, I personally think that you should paint your room the color of your curtains, or at least close. It will sort of tie your Boy-ish,sporty room. But remember, anything anyone tells you on this web-site are suggestions. Don't follow anything word-for-word. No one knows you better than you do. If you like the suggestion use it , if you'd rather have a brown, green,or even a girlier color like yellow, paint it that color. Follow what you like, not what anyone says you need to follow. Just be sure to ask your parents, though,of coarse! If you ask your friends if they like it and they don't, but you do, then who cares? Its your room. YOUR space. You need to pleased in there, and no one else. Hope I helped. I know there will be answers that are better than mine, so pick the one you like if you are doing best answer. And Remember, It's YOUR room! P.S not to nag you or anything, but you will so much better if you tidy your room up before you paint, it makes your room look nicer and makes your parents happy.

I am currently in the process of painting my room. I am 16.
My room used to be a white, then light blue, and is now going to be a light pastel yellow.
I think the light pastel yellow would look good in your room. Maybe even like a white stripe going in the middle of each wall
Or maybe plain white walls. It depends if you want it to match your bed and furniture. Then maybe you should go with pink.
So many options!
Or you could do a total room makeover and get new bedspread and the works.

Where can I find a painting/picture without knowing the title or artist?
I am looking for a poster I had when I was a teenager. The picture was of a room which merged into water possibly the sea. There was a girl in the room with bookcases. There were stairs with water coming down them and a ship with a hole in it showing a propellor or an engine. Does anyone know where I can find this picture?

You could go with some French decor, like a "bienvenue" sign with the pretty french country colors, ie: http://countrydecor.us/index.php?search=french+country+decor+art.
Another go-to move is wrought iron wall art, ie: http://countrydecor.us/index.php?search=wrought+iron+wall+art
Or finally, a good antique clock will complete the motif: http://antiqueclock.us/antique-clocks-antique-clock.php
