Help!Teen Girl Room Decorating ideas....:)?

Im going to be taking over my sister room in a couple of months and am planning out the what im going to do with it. It's my first time having my own room :) Im not all into the Paris theme or pink & black, zebra prints, pink & greens, or polka dots. I like them, but not so much to put it all over my room. If you could add links, ideas, pics & more, that'd be great :)

Scene Girl room decorating ideas?

Okay so i got the scene look and everything and I probably sound like a poser right now but whatever ...
This summer Im gonna paint my wall so i want to give my room a makeover. My room was the same as before I became a scene girl so what are some decor,colors,furni,Accessories,patterns that are scene ? If you have any pictures that will help.

teenage girl room decorating ideas?

ok so i just painted my room and dont really know what to do next. my bedroom is pretty good sized and a mix of pastel and lime green. the borders in my room are wooden and so is all my furniture. my walk in bath room is a peacock blue which really pops against the green. now what? i want a theme in my bedroom and cant really think of one. i was thinking maybe vintage because i love old movies and stuff like that. the problem is that i dont know how to make my room vintage without spending too much money. my parents are willing to buy me like two nice things for it (like the fainting sofa from urban outfitters) and maybe a vanity desk thing. i need ideas though how to craft all of the rest of the things to pull my room all together. my taste is pretty grown up so i dont really like the little girl lacy stuff, i want to still like my room when im eighteen if you know what i mean. i was thinking maybe vintage old movie posters and stuff? what else can i do? give pics if can for visual
i would love to see pictures maybe of a vintage (girly) room, and what they used to look like! i need ideas on what to do about my bed spread, pillows, lamps, rugs, picture frames, and little details. please be detailed and include sites where i can get ideas. pictures would be a GREAT help! thanks so much!

Go to a Goodwill or a thrift store... They always have cool old lamps there for about 4 dollars. I have bought about 10 lamps at Goodwill and even if they are a little weird looking, I use some spraypaint and some sandpaper and I make them look cool. As far as posters go, I really love Vintage posters too. I have gone to those special picture places in the mall to get posters, and I have found great looking vintage posters at Big Lots. Just keep your eyes open and as far as those posters go, make sure you put them in a real frame, with glass... Just hanging them on your wall looks tacky.

It really depends on your personality and what you like. I consider myself neat, too, but I love colors.
