What r some really cool girl's room ideas??

I'm 14 and I'm gonna be moving into a house next door..and I finally get my own room....and I wanna do something so unique and so cool w/ lot's of colors that pop...I only have one window in that room...plz try to attach photos or something..tnx!!

If you search JC Penney, they have some of the best young girls bedroom decor and bed things. You can find it all on line. Beautiful stuff. They even have wall stick on things.

What are good room ideas for a 14 year old girl?

Im 14 years old and want to redo my room but need some ideas. I thought of teal walls a brown bed and black and white photos everywhere, but i dont know what else to decorate. I dont even know if i like that idea so if you have any other room ideas or suggestions PLEASE help! Thanks!!

Decide if you are going to paint, if your not your going to have to work with what you've got. If you have white or cream its easy.

Choose a theme of colours, eg. My room has a hot pink feature wall and where my desk is a patch of lime green. I then have off white for the other walls with white furniture and a silver bed. So you might decide on something like Pink and black or blue and white, you have to decode what you want in your room, funky chair, obviously the bed, desk, bean bag, draws, book case whatever!
So then you have to work with the size of your room, if its small try to choose furniture that doesn't go all the way to the ground because it creates the illusion of more space. IF you have a big room don't choose small furniture, eg, don't choose a small mirror that could get lose in the wall.

My room is really big so it can use all that and not look busy or over powering.

I know some of those rooms might be over the top or not what your looking for,but you could take something from it and make it yours.


But I also love your idea, if you maybe just got some simple personal things, lamps, jewlery box what ever it would make it feel more decorated and like a bedroom.
You could even get a chair. With some teal coloured pillows and a thow.

Repainting my room? for a teen girl? needs ideas?

okay, so i have a fairly small room, not a lot to work with. i would like to repaint it,

right now the color (teal-ish) is about like this, but not shiny

i get to repaint it! but i dont know what to do, because i have dark blue carpet, kind of like this

so i am limited, because new carpet is not an option. i also have a border, it has lion, tiger, jaguar and cougar repeating pattern, very jungle-ish.

i am looking for a new and perhaps sophisicated color scheme. with maybe wall patterns. i dont want something boring.
i have 6 walls, 4 main walls, and then a wall with the door, and a small corner wall.

any ideas?

Since you know you are keeping the carpet, I'd first find bedding that I love with it and then choose a shade from the comforter for your walls. I think gray or a soft mocha would look sophisticated and soothing with the carpet.

i wanna decorate my room! ideas?

okay, so.. i am 17 & i wanna change my room, make it look more grown up. its veryyyy girly and bright now. i wanna begin to make the transition from teenagers room to young adults room. i have a pretty small room (10x12) & i like the "contemporary" look but thats not the only one. i like anything. &i love colors! nothing too little girl ish or sparkly.

or ideas?
