Baby Room Decorating Ideas

Ruth asks…

Ideas for decorating baby's room in an apartment?

I live in an apartment and have been trying to conceive for a couple months now (fingers crossed hopefully it will happen soon) I have been trying to think of things I can do for a baby room since I can't change the walls or floor they are just plain white and tan carpet, any decorating ideas?

admin answers:

Since you cannot paint, have a look at the fun wall designs you can hang on the walls, and the colors that would look nice with tan carpet

Susan asks…

I'm looking for decorating ideas for a new baby's room, but we don't know the gender yet?

We want to have the room decorated by the time the baby is born, but with gender neutral colors that aren't too heavy on yellow (not my favorite color!). We are looking for different paint colors for the walls along with accent decorations and carpet/furniture color ideas.

Thanks!

Mary asks…

what are some good ideas for Decorating a baby boys room?

Yes I'm having a boy i am so HAPPY... but my husband is more happier than me and wants to start fixing up the baby room now so what are some good ideas?

admin answers:

Don't be too matchy-matchy for boys' rooms. Either do a neutral wall color and colorful bedding/ curtains... Or else vice versa. Sports are always a good theme because you don't have to buy a whole matching set - you can pick up random pieces that you like as far as bedding, lamps, curtains, throw rug, and wall decorations. If you're not into sports, then you can do cars, trucks, fire engines, airplanes, frogs and bugs, treehouse theme, etc.

Lisa asks…

Decorating ideas for baby room (neutral)?

Hi, I am looking for decorating ideas for a nursery that are gender neutral. I really like pale yellow, my husband thinks some kind of green. I've always loved "Classic Pooh" as one idea.

Ideas about colors, themes, etc are what I am looking for. Links to pictures would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a bunch!

We did our nursery in a baby jungle theme... The colors are green and yellow. It's a very neutral theme...

You would probably lke it if you like yellow... We also painted the walls yellow just like in the picture.
