teenage girl redecorating her room; i need ideas!?
i've had the same room since i was 9- medicine-pink walls and a stained off-white carpet, with boring furniature. Now i'm 15 and want something a bit more mature, with things that i love as a part of it. Colors i was considering were a soft, springy green, a mint, a light seafoam and a dark turquoise. I'm passionate about theater, acting, and movies. Does anyone have any ideas about color schemes/things to do for my room? [oh, and i'm getting the terrible carpet taken up, there's hardwood floor underneath]

Recreate Hollywood glam of the 40s by using a blue/green mint color for the walls and a dark chocolate brown for the trim. Bedding and curtains could have elements of dark brown and metallic silver. Get a mirror surrounded by lights for a dressing room look. Use a folding screen like what the starlets used to undress behind, and drape a few feathery boas over it. In front of the dressing room mirror put an elegant armless chair upholstered in silver or gold. For lighting, use a couple of sconces like what you see on the walls in movie theatres. If you can get them, hang a few classic movie posters like Maltese Falcon; Gone with the Wind; The Postman Always Rings Twice, etc.have a couple of ornate bedside lamps with shades rimmed with crystal pendants, pearls, feathers etc.
Dont forget to put a silver star on the door with your name!

Teenage girl bathroom and room ideas?
Okay, so my dad is moving my room into the basement when he redoes it.
I need ideas for my bedroom and bathroom.
First, I'm absolutely IN LOVE with Eminem, so no matter what, he has to be included in my room or bathroom somehow, because he's a big part of my life.
Second, I love bright colors, but I'm not sure about a color for either my bedroom or bathroom.
Please help! Any ideas at all???
ALL of the answers, except for the one dissing Eminem, were amazing.(:

For your bathroom, I would suggest you choose a bathroom sink from WS Bath Specials. They offer many colorful bathroom sinks that I am sure you would love. Here is a link to their website: http://www.wsbathspecials.com/

Good room ideas for a teenage girl?
admin answers:
-Paris- Lots of pink and black and maybe gold as an accent, wall art, a dress form/mannequin and lavender scent,
-Beach- string lights or paper lanterns (please be careful not to start a fire! I am not responsible for any accidents!) and beach-y, summery decor (surf boards/beach balls/picture collage using your own pictures from summer)
-Just a relaxing "chill" room with comfy colors, and stylish bedding and room accessories (Bean bags, good and versatile lighting, bean bags or comfy chair, magazines, music, yoga mat, etc.)
-Garden- flowery, bright and fun (Paint each wall a different pastel color [maybe like yellow, green, pink, and orange or blue?] have a cute desk, and a vase of flowers, and some cute, sheer curtains to keep the room bright!)
*I really recommend looking at "Room Tours" on You-tube, and getting ideas that way. They are just videos where people will show you around their rooms, and maybe talk about their decor, and bedding, and stuff like that. Use the videos as inspiration and combine your new ideas with your imagination and style, and just do what YOU will like- after all, it's YOUR room!!* Hope this helps you! Good luck!
