College student: cheap decorating ideas!?

I'm a college girl looking for some cute ideas for how to decorate a living room? cute diy projects to hang on walls? anyone have any cheap ideas to cover couches--other than slipcovers cause they can get pretty pricey. thanks in advance!

When I was younger I swore i wouldn't do this i dreaded going yard saling with my mother, but you can find awesome deals there and they are much cheaper than some of the second hand stores, I have gone to both and always find better deals at yard sales. You can get everything you need there.

What are some fun decorating ideas for a teen polka dot room?

A 13 year old girl re-painting her bedroom. Some fun, cheap accessories or paint ideas in a bright colored polka dot style?
I'm talking about my daughter. She is but I'm not because, well, I dont go to school. Should you be getting a life?
Ok I'll think I'll add this. My daughter has been away for a month at a cheerleading convention and I want to re-do her room as a welcome back. Her favorite color is pink (I think) and I know she likes pictures because she tapes them all over her walls. And I like the color contrast idea.
Shouldnt you be going away? Or is the only thing you have to do today annoy me? She is coming home in less than a week and I have to do this room. Thank you to everyone being useful.

First of all FORGET ALL OF THESE IGNORANT PEOPLE WHO ANSWER A QUESTION & SAY MEAN THINGS JUST TO GET POINTS!!!!
I thinks it's Target that has ROUND pillows, they are ball like throw pillows in several different colors. They also have round ball like lights like lamps that just sit on a night stand or whatever. I love the idea of polka dots. Places like Home Depot will sell you small bottles of paint (there is enough in them to paint a few different size circles on the wall) you could get like 3 or 4 of those for the walls and then stick to those colors. Also go to $1 stores and get rugs and cut them into circles and just put them all around. Go to Michaels and Jo-Anns, you would be suprised at what you can find at those craft stores (I go there ALL the time for "home stuff" and alot of it is "ready to use". Just have fun and include her, the more that she is involved the more fun the space will be and that's all that matters!

Bedroom decorating ideas for a 13 year old girl?

Simple, cheap, creative ideas? I just painted my room and would love new decorating ideas! I can make things homemade, too. Any suggestions?
Things to hang, cutesy nicknacks, throw pillows or something?!?! Something pretty! What do you have in your room that you really like?

Darling, your question is too vague. Next time, say what you want. What kind of decorations you'd like? Stickers? Posters? Lampshades? Figurines? Or collectible items of your own? Choose whatever you like. About the bed and stuff, ask your parents about your bed and if you can handle your own bedding (by sewing it, purchasing it,recycling some stuff in your house) no need to ask mommy and daddy. And be sure that your walls and decorations are always in touch. Good luck

Good ideas for decorating dorm room door at Cheer camp?

All the other girls on the varsity squad with me have. I need some ideas or anything. Id like to keep it cheap. School colors are Gold Black and white were the jackets. thanks

When I was in college we used to decorate our doors all of the time.

Try wrapping paper - it's generally the perfect size for covering a whole door (and relatively cheap). Pick a color or pattern you like then cut out some lettering from felt or other cheap fabric you can find in the discount isle. Maybe some glitter glue or stickers. Ribbon makes for a nice finishing touch.

You could make it look like your cheerleading uniform - black background with gold and white lettering of your school name (just an example...not sure what your uniform looks like). Don't forget your mascot if you have one!!!
