Girls Rooms Ideas Painting

Donald asks…

Any ideas for painting a baby girls room?

We are trying to get the room ready for our baby, but we don't know what to do. I like the colors pink, chocolate brown, and green. I want to stick with polka dots or stripes. Do you know of any good websites I can go to or if you have any pics from your babies room. Thanks a lot!

Ya green sometimes doctors can be wrong what if its a boy and his leg were crossed not pink unless your 100 percent sure and this is a home you own and dont plan on selling in the future cause pink is a personal color so think about it first it is your choice

Don't know your preferences, but here's what I did for my daughter recently, and it turned out so cool. Pick two colors that blend well together (one will go on top of the other), Put the darker color on your walls, and with the lighter of the two, use a wadded up plastic grocery sac, dip in paint, and start splotching it all over, sort of like sponging. It looks really neat.

Need help with ideas for painting rooms?

My husband and I and our four girls are moving at the end of June. Our oldest daughter(is 2.5) will have her own room, our twins(are almost 6months old) will share a room, and then the baby(a month old we adopted her) will have her own room.
I need some ideas for themes or ideas for their rooms and an idea for our master bedroom. thanks for any ideas and websites with ideas are welcome. thanks

I think your oldest daughter would like a lot of bright colors.
Like, maybe a light bright pink and a nice pastel colored comforter. You should give her a light colored dresser that matches the wall, too. Anything bright is always good for a two year old. Put things in the room that would spark her imagination. A cute little night light would be cool :) and nice little curtains too. Give her a cute little rug too, but make sure that the rug could stand spills.
The 6 month olds would definitely be a good time to get matching things. Make everything match. If they're boys, when they get older i think you should get them car beds. Those are cool. Maybe even bunk beds when they reach the right age. But if theyre girls then make sure you get them mobiles :D Those are adorable. Remember, anything that sparks imagination is perfect.
The baby would be the same way. What i think is that what you decide to do with their rooms are completely up to you. Just think like a toddler and what you would like if you were one. What would spark your imagination? What are things you wanted when you were that little?

What are some ideas for a teen girls bedroom(painting)?

I am 13 and i really wanna repaint my room cuz now it is white and boring i wanna use the colors blue, purple, and lime green or blue, purple, and black or blue, purple and or something like that cuz my favorite colors r blue and purple. I want some cool ideas/ways to paint my walls so my room wont be as boring. Please help.

Depending upon the shades of the colors, purple-blue-black combo could get a little depressing after a while as they are all on the darker end of the spectrum.

As for me, I like the purple-blue-lime green combo as long as the lime green was an accent color. I do not think I could be brave enough to put it on my walls ... But that's just me. If you want to go seriously crazy with the color scheme, paint 2 adjoining walls a medium purple/lilac and the opposite two a medium toned blue. Keep your ceiling, baseboards and door and window trim white.

Make your own artwork using small canvasses or even similar sized squares of cardboard. For the purple wall, paint the background using leftover blue and vice versa for the blue wall. Let them dry first, then create your masterpieces using your other two colors plus white and black. You can do splatters, abstracts or color blocks - whatever you feel like doing. When you get tired of looking at blue walls, flip your furniture around so that you are looking at the purple. The artwork you can always change up or out and you can add more depth by layering tones/shades in your bedding, curtains and throw pillows.

Good luck and I hope your room turns out great!
