If you have a landlord or a agency that you pay your rent to they can tell you if it's ok. Usually as long as you don't choose a very dark or bold color they'll be happy to let you spruce the place up. If you are giving it a coat of the same or very similar color, I wouldn't even bother to ask.

Paint the walls a light turquoise with a faux finish. Have velvet purple curtains with hot pink sheers.

I just saw on "Home by Novogratz" a room with large black and white graphic wallpaper, with a large pink Hello Kitty head.

13 year old room ideas?!!!!?

I'm 13 years old, almost 14 and was wondering if you had any ideas of how to paint my room. I will be getting this bed spread---

1. What do you think of it? Is it good for a 13 almost 14 year old figure skating girl?
2. Any room ideas?
Right now, my carpet is a creamy/white color. I may have it changed though.

1. Do you have carpeting in your room? What color is it?
2. Do you have hardwood flooring in your bedroom? And then have area rugs?

If you have carpeting and it's pink, then I would NOT paint your room pink also. That will be too much pink. If your carpeting is pink, why not paint your walls an ivory color (not bright white), but a softer white.

If you have hardwood floors, then you have more options. I would still go for a soft ivory color....OR....what about a light gray. It looks like there is a gray stripe in your comforter. I have my computer room painted that color and it makes the room really "soft." You could paint the room the light gray color if you have pink carpeting also.

Room ideas: A bulletin board to keep track of your calendar and activities. For your walls: pictures/posters of figure skaters. Anything with skates on it! Framed art, posters that advertise skating competitions, etc.

Do you compete? Have a shelf with your trophies and ribbons on it!
