The way I have my room is creative, pretty, and makes the room look bigger by bringing in a lot of light.
Peach on two (opposite) walls. Purple on the other two (opposite) walls. Trim and shelves the opposite colour of whatever is on that wall. One of you have a peach spread comforter with purple pillows, the other of you have a purple spread comforter with peach pillows. Put one bed under the window and one bed going outward from right next to the door (so they form an L), and put a (painted green) wardrobe at the foot of each bed. Add a lamp in the box shape that's formed from the beds being in an L, and put a green throw carpet in the middle area, so it's "defined space", not just "the rest of the room".

14-Year-Old-Girl Room Decoration Ideas?
-I'm a 14 year old girl, going to high school & want to transform my room but my posters, pictures, etc. I have tons of posters but what do I do? Just smack them onto the wall or is there a nice way I can arrange them? Also, any other cool ideas? My rooms really dull right now and I want to make it more teenage-girl like..
Thanks!

I think the posters would look really cool if u covered a whole wall with them. U could put them up in a specific way ( like leaving gaps between each poster) or just overlap them. Both would look cool. If you can buy paint, then u could get a bunch of bright coloured paint a put paint splatters on the wall ( it looks pretty cool and it wouldnt look babyish) Antother thing you could do is buy those big letters that u buy at craft stores, and write something n your wall like your name or friends, love, peace etc. And if u need some extra space in your room, i would suggest buying a loft bed. They open up lots of room. A new bed spread always helps brighten the room, and u could maybe paitn your furniture to match the bedspread and the paint splatters if u decide to try that. Get some cool accesories like a lamp, mirror, etc that match the room colours. Hope it helped!

room decoration ideas for a teenage girl's room?
the room i am working with is quite old and unfortunately i have to use the furniture in it (low budget). It's deep mahogany which i hate! there's an en suite on to the room and its painted in a really calming blue which i really like. I need ideas for the design of the bedroom however..I want something really bold but i also need to study there so i need colors that will help brighten up the room. Please help!!

I think you should keep the calming blue colour since it is widely known as a color that induces relaxation, freshness, and a cool feeling and helps you when your studying. You can get bold items that will brighten up room, colours like hot pink, or deep, like an emerald green or deep sapphire blue.Get bright colour pillow, light shade or a bold picture to hang up in your room these little changes can make your room bright.
