bold as in;; hot pink, teal, bright orange, tebra print

which would you like better??

admin answers:

I like bold.

I think that it is more fun, bright and colorful. : )

But, if you like things calmer, then you should get the country.

So, it all depends on what you prefer, fun and bright, or calm and cool.

Good luck!

Michael asks…

What is a good theme for a teenage girl's room?

I'm a teenage girl and I'm moving in a month. My last theme of my room was all purple. I want to kick it up just a notch and make it something that no-one else would do. What should it be?

admin answers:

I'm re-doing my room also. I think I'm going to use bright colors and spray paint my favorite quotes and designs on the walls. Hope that helps give you some ideas.

Paul asks…

Painting a shared bedroom with the themes Ariel and Dora, and dolphins and dinosaurs. Help?

My 6 and 4 year old girls share a room. One has a Dora comforter, the other an Ariel one. Dora is more purple and pink and Ariel is more greenish and red and purple (a different shade than the Dora one). How can I paint their room that will compliment both themes? Same problem with teenage girls. One has a blue dolphin comforter, the other a lime green color with dinosaur pillows (not kiddish dinosaurs, but very detailed). Should I paint to walls one color and the other two a different color. Split the walls in half with the paint. I need help and I am not good at things like this.

admin answers:

Well, there are a couple of ways to coordinate the two themes/colors in one room. For the little ones room you stated that the common color is purple, and although they may be different shades you can still use purple. You can split the walls in half, matching the purple from each comforter, just different shades (purple from Dora at top half, Ariel purple at bottom half) and separate the colors with a chair railing or a stripe of color separating the two. Or, you can paint the whole room purple, using a neutral purple (between pastel and primary hues).

The easiest way to find a paint color is to pull the common color from both comforters. So, for the teenagers room, find the common color and go with that. You can also cross pollinate colors from one comforter to the other by adding throws, rugs and/or accent pillows. Have fun and remember, paint isn't very expensive so you can always paint over it.
