Teenage girl decorating ideas for bedroom?! Help?

I'm only 13 but we are moving and I want to do something different with my new room. It will be smaller. But not by much. I have a twin bed, a huge desk, a huge dresser, and a nightstand. All my main furniture is white and I want to paint my new room a different color than purple. I could always buy a new bedspread to match. So here's some things about me: I love bands like The Beatles, Eagles, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, etc. I love animals but don't have any of my own :(
um, I love music as you can tell it's my life! I do not like the colors pink, dark purple, green, or orange. I like turquoise, yellows, and blacks and white (:

So how should I decorate it? I really need help! Thanks!!

You should get posters of your bands paint your walls turquoise and have silver accents or a collectors style everything you like just like me... Turquoise walls purple dresser really awesome unique lamp and splatter paint so it is perfect!

How should I decorate a teenage boys room?

So me and my family have been host parents for international exchange students. But all of them were girls, And this next school year we are taking in a boy from Poland. He said he does not care how it is (typical boy ). But he does like yellow and green. And I know he likes snowboarding. But if I were to pick skateboarding sheets and such other things like that it seems kind of juvenile to me. Any idea on how it should look. Also the room is already black and white, and he is 17 years old

Skate boarding and snow boarding are two different things. I would forget the theme in a room for a 17 year old..too juvenile for a boy that age. Stick to a more grown up look and add a picture of an olympic snow boarder. Stick to basics and let him bring pictures of home to add to the walls in some matching frames. Great bedding, desk, comfy chair will go much further. He can add what he wants during his stay there. If you want more ideas, have him send you a picture or two of his own room and take some ideas from that to add to your decorating.

Good ideas for a teenage girl's room?

Basically the style of my room hasn't really changed since I was 7 - I still have soft toys everywhere and a kids clock and a kids bed etc. cause I never bothered to change them, except now I'm getting bored of the style and want to re-decorate my room. I live in a rented house so I can't put posters up or paint the walls but does anyone have any ideas as to how I can change it? For example, duvet/curtain sets, canvas pictures, just general room themes.
