what would be a good theme for a escape room for me and my man!!?
we need an outlet where we can go alone together or with friends.... its a rental property so we cant damage the house.... do you have any ideas????
admin answers:
Because its a rental. Try using the furnishings as the emphasis. What do you and your partner like? Colours etc? Think about how you can accomodate your tastes together. Is is dark or vibrant or light and romantic?
Use pillows, scraves, pieces of furniture (nice chair peharps), new bed cover. If its not a 'love in' think about how the space can be relaxing to you both, what is it that you both enjoy doing? Reading, listenning to music? Watching dvds? Set it up so you can both enjoy it. But don't over clutter.
You might even be able to paint if you got LLs permission.
I like the whole Bohemian theme. Esp for bedrooms. Candles. Vibrant (red tones) Coloured Fabrics and Scraves (silk, chiffon etc). Pillows. Dimmed lighting. Painting on walls.
I remember we lived in West End many moons ago and we turned one room into a harem. Paintings on the walls, the floor was an few inches high in pillows (big ones, small ones), we had big candle sticks for lighting and scraves etc for decoration/fun.
Michael asks…
how do i turn this into a blanket?
i bought a really cute super nice shower curtain from bed bath and beyond the other day on clearance for $4. and I am planning on turning it into some sort of throw/blanket for my father in laws man room. its a golf theme curtain and his whole room is golf/microbrews. I have the curtain also a heavy jersey knit with a tiny bit of stretch in it and i got some fusable quilters batting and about 12 large buttons to add some gussets to it with. I am using just a standard sewing machine to sew it and I'm not sure what the best way to go about assembling it is. I am using the already exhisting seams on the curtain as a guide for my seam allowance and it is about 2". Also I will be trimming off the bit with the large shower rod rings in it at the top because they are in that 2" allowance. And idea on the best way to go about this?

I was going to suggest somthing but it seams you got it all figured out. Good job.
Ruth asks…
Is never changing a diaper a universal theme among men?
I've never changed one and usually leave the room when it needs to happen
(I have no kids - probably that's for the best)
admin answers:
I think initially, yeah....but then they have to sooner or later. Who else is going to do it when Mom's gone? Your crazy cat-loving neighbor?! Don't think so.
David asks…
Can you help me analyze Atticus Finch?
In English, we are reading To Kill a Mockingbird. I need to analyze Atticus Finch toward the theme Man must fight for conviction, even if victory is in doubt. I have already talked about the court room and his determination to not give up on Tom even though he knew he didn't stand a chance at winning the case. Please help, i need one more example.
admin answers:
I think you might also want to talk about what views Atticus Finch upheld, especially with regards to the courage of others. For instance, what he said about Mrs Dubose and her fight for life without morphine. Hence Atticus not only fights for what is right, but assists/thinks well of his fellow man who also undergoes such a struggle.
You could discuss how Atticus came back when he did not get the victory he wanted...i.e. When Tom was shot and killed. Sure, he knew he would not win the case, but he certainly did not want Tom to be killed in such an animalistic fashion. So you can analyse Atticus' strength of character in that sense.
