remodeling ideas for a teenage girls bedroom?
my room is really small and i dont have enough room to put any of my stuff, i was thinking about adding some shelfs but im not sure what kind or where to put them, i also want to less stuff in my room but im not sure how to do that, any advise will work. thanks!

Well first of all don't get a themed room because sooner or later you will get tired of the theme. Get solid colors unless you are sure of the pattern and your room should be a success!

Teen girl's bedroom, got ideas but can't put it together.?
so for my niece's birthday we are redecorating her bedroom. this is what i have to go by:
-colorful and bright but still cozy and relaxing
-funky and teenage but NOT tween!
-has a sophisticated touch of early 20's
She loves surfing and the ocean but she wants to be an actress and she is into the glamorous aspect of it. (her hero is hayden panettiere) is there a way we can combine those ideas and put them into colors and a bedspread and accesories? or one or the other? i am so lost but i want her to love it! She has white furniture and the room is small.
hmm she likes purples, blues, and cranberries i'm told. she'll go with shades of green though. oh and she is 17 if that helps.

what are some good color schemes for teenage bedrooms?
Im a 15 year old girl and looking for an idea to redo my bedroom. Its sort of small and is currently blue and green. It has two windows, hard wood floor and two bi-fold closets. I want more open colors to make my room seem bigger. most of my furniture is black, so anything that would go with that.

I think walls painted light aqua blue or soft yellow would look great. Nothing too dark it would make the room feel even smaller. Add drama to the bed with a great bedding set.

Teenage girl and STILL have to share a bedroom w/ my 9 yr old brother. Help!?
I am a teenage girl and still have to share a room with my 9 yr old brother. I HATE it! I mean, my brothers nice and everything, but im just too old for this. It's so uncomfortable. SO sick of walking in on each other changing, and its awful when i have my period, etc. Also, the room is really small, so there isn't any room to put a divider up or anything like that. Its miserable but we cant afford a bigger apartment and even if we could afford to modify our apartment, it isn't really possible the way its layed out. Any ideas at all? Thank you!!!!
Also, our house is very small (800 sq feet) and there is just a main room, a kitchen, our bedroom, my parents bedroom, and two bathrooms. So no other rooms i cud move into. and i m to young to move out. Thank you guys soooo much!

If you have a living room area you could start sleeping in there.
Maybe start a system of sticking a shirt or sock in the door when one of you is changing or just wants some private time?
