wall decor for girl and boy sharing?
my 2yr old son and 4yr ol daughter are sharing a room together for the first time. I'm looking into some peel & stick wall decor for them but need some ideas on what to get so that its a mutual decor. Amazon has dinosaurs, princess, sesame street, trucks, balloons, butterflies, action figures, numbers etc so many to chose from. I want an item that can go across the whole room vs one side for her one for him. any ideas?

What color walls will go w/ a lavender carpet?
I'm a 16 year old girl & I'm re-doing my whole bedroom but I need some ideas. My carpet is lavender & my furniture is dark brown so what color walls should I paint my room? I also would like ideas for room decor & stuff like that. Thank you :)

Kept the paint light to brighten up your room. Go get some colour swatches from the paint shop. Cream or a neutral shade and even a light green so long as it is the right shade.

So I am 14, going to high school soon and I have the opportunity to re do my bedroom. It's a longer room, and I want to make it fun. Not a specific theme, but ideas to DO to my room; what to purchase and hang up. I need ideas! Wall colors? Fabrics? Curtain, and decor? Teenager! Fun! Help!

redecorating bedroom. Ideas?
I am a 16 year old girl and I want to redecorate my bedroom. I don't have a big bedroom, so I am trying to conserve space. Right now I have the bright color theme going. I love retro and vintage looking stuff, so I wanted to go for that kind of theme. I don't want retro like rainbows on the walls but I love the older stuff. I always say I was born in the wrong generation. So I need help with decorations and especially what color for the walls. I want to use paint, not wallpaper, but what I thought would be really cool is to use newspaper and somehow use that as a makeshift wallpaper on one of the walls. I am not sure how to go about this though, so if you think this is a good idea and have a way of doing it, please help me with that.
In my room right now, I have orange walls, a loft bed, brown dresser, brown desk, tall white shelf, small brown curio cabinet that I have dolphins in, 2 jewelry armoires (1 white and 1 cherry oak), lime green sparkly curtains, long green mirror, and a few other things. I have a neutral carpet so I think anything can go with it really.
I already have a few vintage looking things such as my white jewelry armoire. It looks older, not sure how old it actually is. I need to keep both jewelry armoires though because I have a lot of jewelry. haha. I also have this chair type thing with a vintage/retro fabric. I have my brown dresser which has gold handles.
I was thinking, if I have enough room, I could trade my loft bed for say a futon, but right now, I don't have room. So I still have to see what I can do.
What kind of lamps and wall decor do you suggest? Wall color? I think I need the most help on the wall color. I will most likely need an area rug too, so if you have any links to any ideas, that would be helpful.

I don't want it to look really expensive but I want it to look older. I don't want it to be tacky either

First of all. No not loving the newspaper wallpaper it will look tacky and vintage is supposed to look expensive.
Im thinking grey walls
a big chandelier in white
a dresser in red (unique)
that's all of my ideas.
