James asks…
I am fixing to do my daughters' rooms and my unborn sons nursery, and cute ideas?
I have three little girls, and for the past 4years,My Kiddos have slept with Tyrell and I either in the bed,or in a crib beside it.
We just purchased a 4 bedroom,2 bath house from his sister who is downsizing to a apartment. We are going to decorate three rooms for our children.
-We are giving our oldest daughter her own room, and need something super girly and feminine for a little girl who is 4.
-The next room our two younger girls who are 2 and 4 months will be sharing,I want something that is also super cute and girly, but would fit both a baby and a toddler.
-The last room will be our baby sons (whos due in december) room,we want something modern but screams little baby boy.
Thanks for the help.It is a huge change from a 2 bedroom trailer to a nice house..I need all the help I can get!

I searched online and found many very cool tree wall decals that I am planning on using for my daughter's room. You can get them in basically any color you want and there are all kinds of styles to choose from.
Here is a website with all sorts of different decals: http://www.dalidecals.com/

Do you let your toddler BOY play dress up?
I'm redoing my sons room with architectural detail and thought of a cute idea that I've probably seen somewhere else, putting door knobs on the wall and hanging costumes from it. Just like cheap costumes that I can get around Halloween time like a firefighter costume, batman, cowboy, police, etc. My sister said that girls dress up in costumes and since I'm female (on husbands account), I might be accidentally swinging him the wrong way... (gay). He's just a 2 year old and I see kids on tv running around in cowboy outfits? I think it's cute! Does your child do this?

There's nothing wrong with boys dressing up, as long as you aren't putting them in dresses and make up! Go ahead and let them be superman, a pirate, a cowboy, a police officer, fireman, etc.....it makes the imagination and personality grow.

I'm having a girl. I personally like the second one better. You actually helped me by posting this.. Because I absolutely love it. I agree with you for the black and white it doesn't seem like "baby." If that makes any sense. I hope you get the baby girl you want! Good luck and congrats.

What can help a toddler scared of the dark?
My little girl just turned 3. She has two older brothers who are always talking about "scary" stuff which doesn't help, and the last few nights she has woken up screaming her room is yucky and she is scared. This then wakes up her baby brother... so everyone is tired and unhappy. Today I went shopping with her and we bought a really cute Tinkerbell fairy lamp that turns on when the room gets dark (light sensor), a new tinkerbell bedspread and pillow and soft pretty green curtains. We bought colored tubs for all her toys and tidied her room and all the toys are now in the cupboard and her room is spotless, but no scary shapes sitting around... hopefully this will work... she actually wanted to have her day nap in her room today (last 3 days wouldn't sleep there) and says she is happy... here's hoping! Anyone else had the same experience with their child and any helpful ideas?

Yes.....experienced same here....you did right thing...
Changing up what they've become accustomed to is a good thing...
Like shrek always says (and I LOVE it) 'change is good, donkey'
and a night light will ALWAYS scare the boogey men/monsters/shadows....creeepy crawlies....etc... Away...
Fingers crossed.....so far so good
been sleepin with night light for a few months now....works GREAT.
Good Luck
Patience n Perserverance
and most of all
Have Fun
