Does anyone have any advice for a "ocean" theme for a teenage girls room?
admin answers:
Paint the walls ocean blue and the ceiling lighter blue with some white clouds, easy to do with a sponge. Then paint sand colored around the most open wall of her room. You can hang a net like boats use and put some sea shells and sun glasses. Maybe a table with an umbrella with bright colors and paint her furniture with white and blue with bright primary color knobs. Paint wooden ones or the ones you have already. Buy a colorful rug that looks like a beach towel and put that under the table or at the foot of the bead. Go to The Rug Company to see what they have. Use beach chairs and maybe a hanging hammock chair if you can get it hung from the rafters or the beam that will hold a kid or two. Fill some colored bottles from the Dollar Tree with sand and put them in the window...use shades or shutters or striped yellow curtains and let all the light in that you can. Maybe hang some posters or pictures of ocean scenes. Try DIY to see if they have any theme roos to look at. Good luck.

What would be the perfect theme for a 12 year old girls room?
I have been patching up my relationship with my daughter. I have decided to give her a complete surprise room makeover that covers the main room, closet organization and her bathroom.
I hope you guys can help me.

If you're working on your relationship with your daughter... I think it might be a great experience for you guys to do together. You guys could plan it and go shopping and then do the whole makeover together. =)

What are some good room themes for a teen girl who likes guitars and just about any colors?
I am a teen girl looking for a room theme that has bright colors and not too busy of a design.
admin answers:
Lime green black and white.. And make cardboard cutouts of guitars to use as stencils and do a diff color.. Then have a bookshelf dividing a part of your room for a relaxing area and get a low chair to do hw and relax there etc... Get fish line and hang guitar picks(make a smalll hole in) from the ceiling here and there...next find tshirts with gulitars etc n them and make pillows from there for your bed... Make sure not to clutter the area..... Get agreat poster and uses it over your bed as a focu and have fun with it.... Try not to spend too much $$$$$,,,, enjoy the room when done ... And add a nice area for your proudcts like make up etc. In a box that matches the room ... Could be a box that shoes came in that you do magazine art all over and then add decoupage glue and glass over...:)

Any good room themes for a teen girl?
I'm looking for a good room theme to redo my room. I'd like a mature and music based room ((guitars, music notes, etc.)) I like black, pink, green, yellow, red, and gray.
admin answers:
You have a broad taste in colors but workable, the one thing that i notice that you do like is music.
Ck out this room i found online that incorporates all the colors that you are looking for as well as a music theme.

and one thing you could add to the room is furniture that act as instruments
ck this out

and here's an off the wall image of a Victorian style music bedroom. So if you are into classic music you could do music like this

but still try to incorporate instruments as well as musical images.
I hope this helps
good luck!!
