Cute ideas for a teen girl's bedroom?

My sister has been trying to think of some ideas for her bedroom. She has her own bathroom that would probably need new ideas too. Right now there is purple carpet and white walls with polka dots. She's looking for a change, but isn't really sure what she wants to do. She is kind of a girly girl, but she loves sports and hanging out with friends. She's thought about painting her walls gold.. but doesn't know what colors to use that would look cute with purple carpet. If you have and ideas/themes/colors that you think would work, i would love it! Thanks.

Um... How about light purple and brown? The light purplew ould incorperate the carpet and the brown is a nice accent for the purple. You could even do the lower part of the wall brown and then put a white chair railing in the middle and do the upper part light purple. Then do a light purple or brown bed comforter.
I just did my bedroom in light blue and brown and its so cute but I don't know how well that would go with purple carpet.

I think gold walls would look really pretty with the purple but you are going to want another accent color.

You could do the purple carpet with light purple and light blue since blue and purple are contiguous colors on the color wheel, that works!

You could also do the purple carpet with light purple and light green (you could add light blue if you want). Since purple and green are contiguous on the color wheel also.

It all depends on how girly you want it.. I think any light blue or purple with brown and white would be really pretty! And it is really girly too.

Other good accent colors for purple - yellow, orange, green, blue and red. Then you could use the neutral colors - white, brown, black, tan etc.

what are cute bedroom ideas?

im a 16 year old girl and i really need to redo my room,i want my room to be really cute and i need some ideas.please help.

How about decorating your room in a white theme, and adding pastel tones for the furniture?
Maybe you can put some uniquely designed/egg-shaped chairs with light colors. I like white themes and bright colors anyway:D
Do you have a window in your room? If you don't you can have a window painted into your wall. That's nice too.

Or if you want a totally strong-color theme, you can try colors that feel kind of fluorescent for wallpapers but I think that would be a little tiring.

If you want to decorate your room without doing too much complicated stuff. You can do it by changing the bedding just a little bit.

Teen Girl Bedroom Designs For Small Bedrooms!!?

I want a really cute bedroom design for a small bedroom because im tired of my old bedroom design but i can't think of any cute ideas for a good deal. So if you can post a website with great deals for teen girl bedroom ideas, or just give me your ideas it will be highly appreciated! I really like like polka dot and circles bedroom designs and my favorite colors are in order: Green, Blue and Orange. I f you can use those colors it would really help. It's always fun redecorating your room, especially if you like polka dots. First, get and idea of where you're going to put any funiture. Think of what funiture you reeeally need. I took my desk out of my room(i didn't use the desk at all.), which was litterally a 10x11 box! Anyway, that gave me a ton of space. This is similar to what I do, I just don't use the straight edge, the triangles, or the architect's scale, but you may want to. The mall probably has stuff like that too. You can even make your own stuff Grab a cute, inexpensive lamp with a solid lampshade. Find scrape material from old clothes or linens. You could even use paper if you want. Cut out polka dots from the material or paper and attatch them to your lamp! It's super cute and allows you to show off your creative side. Any questions? If you buy a cute beach towel and pin it up on your wall it looks cute and beachy and creative
if you plant grass in old soup cans with the labels washed off, it looks modern and cute and eco-friendly
cute paper things to hang from the ceiling-like multicolored polkadots, or paper flowers
orr taking string and stringing oversized beads, shells, or paper designs
