Robert asks…
Is there anything I can do with party decor?
I have 2 kids, boy and girl, and every year I go all out of their birthday parties and get the wall decorations and everything to match the theme. I just hate to throw it away after the party, but it is not something i want to hang up in their rooms or anything like that. I save some stuff that I can use in a scrapbook to have that page decorated for their theme, but other things I am not sure what to do with. I spend a decent amount as well, and I hate to just throw them away. Does anyone have any ideas? Also I don't have any family that has kids our age to maybe give them the decor, but I would rather try to do something with it to keep memories of it.

If you are a scrapbooker then you are a crafter. Use the leftover items on paper bags you can buy at craft store and make gift bags to sell at a garage sale.
Charles asks…
will this look good for decorating my room?
Hi, I'm a 12 year old girl going to decorate my basement room. I want to choose bright colors since I'm going to be living in the basement. I'm going to be putting wallpaper on my walls and I was browsing through home depot and I liked this wallpaper:http://www.menards.com/main/home-decor/wallpaper/rolls/juvenile-teen/ready-set-grow-sidewall/p-1294199.htm
I don't want it to be to pink but something bright and fun, I was looking at bed spreads/comforters and I loved this one: http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/ProductImageview.aspx?IT=G&ID=1a8c19c&MD=RN&GRT=STY&E=F&SA=T&VT=ZV&I=0900631b81b2c6b9M.tif&VAS=&AV=F&HM=F&RGB=&AS=&AST=&BID=&VID=&RU=http%3a%2f%2fwww.jcpenney.com%2fjcp%2fX6E.aspx%3fpersist%3d1%257e70753%257e78373%257e%257eENS%257c1a8c1a3%257e-1%257e%257e%257eFalse%26CmCatId%3d82319|78373&IRU=Y&CmCatId=82319|78373
would this look weird and be to young for my room? I want it to look my age yet still be fun, any ideas?

Bright colors are awesome for a teenager's room, especially to perk up a basement space. If you decide you don't like something, you can always change it later. Have fun and don't worry about breaking any rules. If you like it, it works. Select fun fabrics for your bedding and pillows to match your wall paper. Watch the sale bins or remnant section to get good deals on fabric.

Need help decorating my room!?
I'm moving soon and my parents said I can paint the walls any colour I want.. Eventually I'd get decor to match it. I need opinions on my idea, and options would help too.
My idea:
My furniture is almost like a white oak, I have no clue what type of wood the floor is.
So if the floor is like my furniture then my walls would be mauve with orange and blue-grey decor.
I'm not sure...
So I need help, what else do you think would be a good idea?
Just to let you know I believe a room should resemble yourself..I guess. So,
I'm a 13 year old girl..I guess I'm an average girl..Not really girly but not a tomboy..I hope that helps xD.
Oh and if I do go wth my idea, should I make it like an indian theme =]?? I like india, it's cool. But...I'm not indian. Not like that matters.
Thanks ;D

Yeah, go with your idea. I'm not so sure about the Indian theme though. Well, then again I don't really know what an Indian theme looks like ;)

How can I redo my teen bedroom in blues and greens?
I'm a teen girl and I am redoing my room. My room is 16 feet 10 inches long and 12 feet wide. I want it to be girly but not pink or white. I can paint the walls and get new furniture. I like blues and greens and I might get a metal bed. The problem is that I have no idea how to go about redecorating. If you have any tips or links to sites with cool furniture or decor that would be great!

Use like the brown and green polka dot bad spread with a brown back ground all 3 of those colors look great together
