Teenage Bedroom Decorating?
I am a fourteen year old girl and I LOVE music. Mostly alternative and indie, but I love the Jonas Brothers and 3 Doors Down as well. I want a clutter free space, and I want it music themed. I can't paint, and I have small room. Any tips or ideas? Thank you!!!

When my son wanted a music theme, i printed pics of guitars & album covers off the internet, and then i put them in photo frames. I also put some old record albums on the walls. Another idea is take you favorite CD cases & line them above your window or top of your curtain. You can use some of those velcro stickies to get them to stick.

Decorate girl teenage runner's room?
I want to decorate my room with like my medals and stuff...any ideas? I was thinking about hanging my medals from my ceiling and having like a stuffed cheetah or something related to running in the middle. Then hang my placks on the wall. Maybe writing quotes on my walls....???? Help me!

That's cute and creative and I really like that idea :]
It's original.
It's just that hanging stuff from the ceiling is frustrating and you'll need lots of patience.

bed room decorating help?
hey, i am a teenage girl and i am redecorating my room in a alice in wonderland, through the looking glass style. think like a laura ashley garden party with a alice in wonderland twist (if you can imagine, the classic beauty of laura ashley florals with the fun and artsyness of alice).
anyways, i have all of my furniture, which is white, and i want to know a creative way to refurnish them. If it is also possible, does anyone have any bedding/accessory/anything else ideas?
thanks so much

Furniture wise you could always leave it white, but paint, vines or tree branches over it. That's really cool I think. And since its all about equilibrium stimulation on the floor you could do one of those twisting swirl patterns, you know the ones they use to hipmatize people. If i right, that's what they use to describe when she's "falling through the rabbit hole". Oh and a Queen of hearts bed spread that looks like one of the playing cards would be cool.
But there is this book series about Alice in Wonderland called "Looking Glass Wars" by Frank Beddor, that if you haven't read you should totally look into. I love them. Anyways, he has alot of things about hearts in there. And in that case you could do alot of wicked twisted stuff. Look up his website you'll see what I mean.
You can always go with just doing slightly odd things, just putting a twist to everything that leans towards funky. Like have a antique style night table that is bright purple with a checker board top. Or one of those fake grass welcome mats as your bed side rug. Fancy miss match tea, china sets holding your jewlry, desk supplies, make-up, ect.

How should I decorate my hangout room?
I'm a teenage girl. I don't know how I should decorate the room. I live on the lake, so I don't want the colors to be dark. I'm going to have my desk in the room, but I have no idea where to go from here. Any ideas? please and thank you.
I'm a teenage girl, and I get 2 rooms in the house I'm moving into. I don't know how to decorate my hangout room, the room with out my bed in it. The house is on a lake, so I want bright colors, nothing extremely dark. Any ideas? please and thankyou(:

Well depends what your favorite color is or what you're going for. If the room is open and bright, then a light yellow/green would be really pretty. You can decorate the walls with pictures of friends. What I did with my room is print out pictures in squares and made a checker pattern out of them. You can also make a collage of pictures and stick it in a frame. Another cool idea is to find lyrics you really like, type them up, cut them out, and stick them going around the room, kinda like a border maybe around the top of the wall.
If you're getting furniture and stuff, I would say to get bedsheets that are either white or you can get some with a cute black print, maybe a silhouette of flowers. The black will give a nice contrasting pop to any light wall color. If you pick white or black sheets, they can match with any wall color in case you ever decide to change it.
I find lanterns really cool and whimsical. They'd also be cute for a lake house. You can get them at IKEA.
Draped sheer curtains would brighten the room and give it a light and cheery look.
Oh and for a hangout room, some bean bag chairs or maybe a small couch would be nice.
