Hey! Soo I am painting my bedroom. I am a teenage girl and I am not really girly but I do love to do some girly things. I am getting a black and white comforter, lamp, and curtains. Should I paint my room a light blue or grey? I have no idea! which should I paint it? or a different color?
no pink, purple, or black though.

Grey would be OKAY, but be careful with it (and a blue) as it could make the room seem cold and uninviting....

If you go for a grey, go for a fairly light one that is warm-toned

I'm a teenage girl. I'm painting my room purple but I want to know like what to add in it. e.g rug, streamers

My room is painted a medium purple and a faded lime green. The two colors go together really nicely. Accent shaggy rugs or pillows would look nice. The other thing I have in my room (this is my favorite part too) is a cork board wall. I bought a roll of cork board and put it up on one of my walls, then I put up pictures, old birthday balloons,favorite candy wrappers, (kind of an inside joke with a friend) and just about anything that I like or reminds me of a nice memory. Make a scrap book out of the wall. It's a nice teenage touch.

I dont know what color to paint my room!?

I am a 14 year old girl and Im not a really girly girl so but i like feminine stuff just not to the max. i like just about anycolor besides pink and purple. Im getting paint in the next couple of days so i have to decide soon. if you tell me a color tell me some ideas that i could to with it. i like birds and trees and flowers and nature stuff like that too. do you think a store would have a bird stencil or something like that. links would be great too if you have time.

I like pale mint green as it is a 'cool' color - doesn't make you feel too warm and is easy to coordinate other colors to.

My oldest daughter's bedroom was pale green with white trim on the wood and door. She had one end wall papered with a wood violet flower (purple with green leaves) on a pale green and white striped bkground. She loved it.

Her bed, dresser and night stands were white and the comforter and sheets were lavendars and pale greens accented with dark green and dark purple. Bedside rugs were White which it seemed like she washed them every other day lol.

It was a very sophisticated looking room, not too girly but cool and calm looking.

My middle daughter had pale blue, navy and apple green in her room. Again white furniture. It was cool looking but more lively.
