good room themes for a baby girl?
me and my girlfriend are having trouble coming up with a theme for a baby girls room. any ideas?

I don't see the point in themes... I'd just decorate nicely, maybe a pale pink paint and a few butterfly wallstickers... Then you can get lots of different bedding and matching curtain sets so you're not stuck with Disney Princesses or good old Pooh Bear... It'd certainly give you a lot more option when buying linen anyway.

I think it would look nice to not do a theme, but more of a style. A theme is something that is alot easier to grow out of, while a style could be kept for much longer. I think this room is very cute

You could also do something like this with yellow and red. That would be very cute and it would be something that could be kept for years, of course you could also just do like red and white and make it simple. Or any colors!

Ideas for a baby girl's room?
We are moving from our annoying half a house (it's a town house, but we call it our half a house), to a spacious 4 bedroom home. It is being built and designed, so it's not ready yet... and considering my husband has a say in this it probably wont be done for a while. It was originally started by my husband's parents who planned to rent it out or sell it or something... but they chose to pass it on to us and let us continue with it and basically buy it when it's done.
Point is, we are moving. I don't know when... we are hoping before fall, so if we move in the summer our daughter will be 8-10 months old. She will have her own nursery obviously and I was already thinking (I am crazy about designing stuff) about what to make her room look like. I don't know if I want the typical pink, yellow or purple... I was thinking a soft peachy/orange. Any ideas for a baby girl's nursery (colours, bedding, furniture, theme)? We already have a light wood crib, dresser/changing table, shelves and night table and we don't really want to buy new ones because we spent a lot on those already.
Thanks!

Well my personal favorite is Tinkerbell =)
followed by maybe having ladybugs painted on the walls, like a little flower garden theme
and my own room, which has been painted the way it is since i was like 8, is the top half blue with clouds and the bottom half is grass. Then i have a whit picket fence painted around the bottom on the green. I have butterflies, bees, and dragonflies stenciled and painted on the blue and a white ceiling with yellows stars stamped on. My friends who are 16 think it's adorable so it might be something that would last a long time.
Good luck =)
