I ya Nina you must write down what you like colors , what catches your eye what is your fave ok like i like damask and i i like red, white , black and lime green and glitter and metallic and Swirls designs and damask designs and i love wrought iron and shabby chic Style also. So my bedroom is burgundy just in the sheets and a pillow black and white damask pattern comforter and cases. Black furniture. WIth wrought iron decor like that and you will find your design

60s-70s style bedroom for a teenage girl? What was seen in a bedroom back then?
I've been thinking of redecorating my room into a style i love: complete retro. Although I was born in the 90s, the style in that time period always fascinated me. Andy Warhol is my idol with all of his bright and unique artwork, and I want to incorporate that into my room. I love the whole peace and love essence that the time gave off, with all of the crazy patterns and crazy colors used. I searched google for pictures of this style room, but I had no luck. Help? This is kind of what I'm going for:
*intricate patterned wallpaper
*lots of lime greens, reds, oranges, or browns
*again, I am not from this time, so I need your help! Please send me patterns, room layouts, and other decor to help me design my room!
By the way, I want to include everything BUT drugs!

Lots of Flower Power, lots of psychedelic colors, paisley shapes, leopard print, curtain beads, shag rug. Hooked rug pillow with Daisy or flower of any kind.
You can find just about everything at your nearest Goodwill or Salvation Army cheap! If you're lucky, not even opened or use.

im re-doing my bedroom like this...i've chosen the exact same colours as those except for the green...the green that i've chosen is like a celery green, such as the one on top of this page (not the bright one, the lighter one) but would the lime-green look better like the one that shows on the picture on the website???

I REALLY LIKE THAT! IT'S SOOO CUTE!
It's so soft and clean...i love it, especially if your not really into bright and loud rooms...maybe add a little bit of splash to it, add some art work to the walls. But the colours are gorgeous and so chic :)
I like the celery green you've chosen but i think the lime-green would spice it up a little more. But your choice hun! Happy re-decorating (:

french style bedroom?
I was asked to design a french type bedroom for a teenage girl. I always thought of french style bedrooms as like black, pink, and white. Can anyone give me some advice. I'd like to do this pretty cheap...Such as some cute wall accessories, a coat of paint, and some new bedding/curtains. Thanks :)
