Painting A Girls Room Green And Pink

I'm pregnant due in May it's a girl. I need suggestions on how to design her room. Using brown, green & pink.?

I'm really into nature. Was thinking of painting several murals of trees with Owls, butterflies, dragon flies, and flowers. Do you think that is too much or just paint the room. Should I paint the walls all 3 colors? Or just one or two of the colors.....suggestions would be great.

If you are willing to do the work then I think a mural is great! I think you should only use two colors on the walls since you want a mural. I would go with brown and green. The pink should be in the accents like lamps and bedding. They have lots of brown and pink girl things. :) Also, as a tip, be sure to just baby proof things now so you don't have to later! You'll thank yourself later!

What paint color would look best with green and pink bedding for 4 yr old girl?

I am painting my daughter's room. I already bought her bedding that is green and pink. Her room is average size with low celings, and no windows. I haven't bought her new bedroom furniture yet. I have a picture of the bedding.

Hi, beautiful bedding by the way. You really should use a color in her bedding. Since she doesn't have a window you want to stay neutral, the lilac is beautiful. If you want to bring some height into her room a great way is to paint her ceiling and continue with the same color 18-24 inches down the wall like a border. By doing this it draws the eyes up and will make the room actually feel bigger. Choose the main color which should surround the rest of her room.

Ceiling colors: a lighter color, maybe a cream color in the yellow family, pastel pink
main wall color: which would be darker of the 2 colors, lilac?

When you buy her bedroom furniture white would pull all the colors together. White will also grow with her. The other thing to consider is buy either art, framed picture or wallpaper of a window with a beautiful scene.
