simple and cheap mod baby room ideas?
I am saving money for my babys room so far have 100.00 to buy lime green paint- and a rug brown green dots
do you have any ideas we will have a cow picture she loves cows maybe giraffe art

Go to the big box home store and look through their oops paint section, lime green is often there for a few bucks. You can hot glue a ruffle around the rug to make it more girlie. Find sheets for curtains, they're all ready hemmed, just slip a rod through them and hang the rod high. Sheets are also sold with companion styles so if you sew you make other things like a lampshade or pillows too. Find a calender at the $1 store and frame some of the pages. Make a dust ruffle using any one you find, just cut it to size and Velcro on. Good luck!

Hardwood floor w/area rug or wall to wall carpet in the baby room?
I want wall to wall but baby mama wants area rug...well at least that's what she wanted until she's left.
I live in TN Valley where it doesn't get real cold but has a very high polen level.
No indoor pets and I don't think there will be anyone eating or drinking other than the babygirl.
She's left... I have been beggin for two freakin months for her to come back and I have been praying day and night that the baby will some to live here in my house when she's born! You don't know me or have any idea about the situation we're in. So, just answer the question... "top contributor" my a$$.

I would go with the wood, just because babies turn into really messy messy kids, and wood is easier to clean, and more sanitary. If you could fast forward 10 years from now, lift that wall to wall carpet you want and see what's been embedding under there, you would choke. An area rug is easier to take outside, clean real well, and more importantly, replace when it gets gross. I will never have wall to wall carpet again, you could vacuum everyday, and the carpet still traps dirt, bacteria, germs, everything you don't want your kid crawling on. Good luck with your family.
