How can i make this room a Girls room?

i really want to make my room a perfect room for girlsuntil the kids room is ready. I am having some friends over and i want to have the sleep over in the basment. my basment is pretty much home to most of my 8 year old brothers lego colection. my parents are planning on renovating my basment, but i don't think that thats going to happen for a long time because two of my basment rooms are fulll of my uncles stuff from what he left my dad, and m dad just cant let go. how can i make this room a girls room for a night with out painting or hanging up a bunch of pictures or anything.thanx

Hang girly top sheets over ur brother's lego stuff, if u have a bright colored/flowered/etc rug, use that on the floor
get a ton of pillows and put brightly colored/girly pillowcases on them and place them all over the room
beanbags are great too
make a 'snack bar' if ur allowed to eat in the basement: get a smallish table and put a minifridge/cooler under it and use a tablecloth and then put food/plates/etc on it; this goes great in a corner
get a boombox/ihome and plug ur ipod up or turn on some cd's or the radio
make sure you have a phone for prank calls

Maybe mani/pedis: like go to publix/kroger and buy a huge jar of face masque or google homemade face masque recipe
and tehn get lots of nail polish
if u have a projector and a blank/white wall, this is great for showing movies

What is going on in your house right now?

Right now i am in the study, listening to cars drive past my house as the front door is wide open because we are getting a new carpet fitted on halls/stairs. The sun is out so my 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier is playing with his toys on the patio. My eldest daughter has gone to the park with her friends, my eldest son is in the garden building a new cupboard and my youngest twin girls are painting me some pictures in the dining room.

Whats happening in your house?

My daughter is surprisingly still asleep. I've been up for a couple of hours. I'm on here playing ISketch & looking at Answers. My husband went to get a haircut. And as usual I can hear my upstairs neighbor's kids stomping and screaming bloody-murder, even with all of my windows closed and the central air running. So pretty much, it's a typical day here.

painting a girls nursery..?

i'm due in september, and i want to go with a brown and pink theme.

i just don't know how to go about painting, right now my room is an ugly dark blue.
should i do half the walls pink, half brown?
i also have closet doors that have to be painted.
i don't really know where to start.
any suggestions, and pictures would be amazing.

I would paint it light pink like the color of the background of the bedding..(the lighter pink) I think its called tea pink.Then i would buy the stickers for the walls that are circles but brown..
Then stick them up in different places around the room.

Room Decorating?

I am a 14 year old teenage girl. I am going to move into my brothers room soon, and i get to do practically whatever i want as long as its pretty lower priced and it wont look bad. I have thought over and over, but i cant think of anything to paint the walls [patterns not?] where to put everything. so if anyone could find a picture of a teen girls room that would help so so much.

i love - pinks, oranges kind of, bright colors.
I am very peppy, i have a aqua blue apple clamshell laptop. i love hollister, abercrombie, coach , i have a chanel purse [i dont know what to really say i am just stating my personality]. i love fashion, make up, and others think girls like

I think we have similar styles, in my room the walls are painted a light green apple and the decor is a mix of fuscia, aqua blue,yellow, and white. If there is an Ikea near by, I would reccomend you go there and look at the different bedrooms they have set up. Even if your not buying anything its fun to look at how they design different rooms.
