Little Girls Easter Dresses

Photobucket

Daniel asks…

What is the brand of a toddler girls white eyelet dress with pink underlay from JcPenney sold at Easter 2009?

Ok, I saw this dress just after easter this year at JcPenneys, it was a white eyelet dress with either pink or green underlay fabric that showed through the eyelets. The eyelet pattern was in flower shapes. The dress was cotton and it was toddler/little girls size around 2T-4T. I am trying to find this dress for my flower girls in my wedding, with no luck. Please let me know the brand of this dress if you bought it or if you happen to know of something that looks like it please let me know that too. Thanks.

Perhaps it's the Bonnie style, since JcPenney carries those. Check here to see if you find it: http://www.thefind.com/apparel/info-bonnie-dress#store=181&local=0

Otherwise, you might be able to find something similar on http://www.pinkprincess.com/

Betty asks…

For mom's of little girls what do you think of the clothes out there?

OK here's the thing, I was looking online for a nice Easter outift for my two girls, aged 6 and 2, something elegant, we dont really celebrate Easter but we'll be going to visit their grandma that long weekend so I wanted to get my kids something nice, my son already has a couple of nice button down shirts and a nice sweater and he's done!
Now for the girls it was much harder!! Trying to find something elegant yet age appropriate is hard!! I managed to find a couple of nice dresses but then I realized I needed to get them some shoes!!
Well that was tough indeed!! I was looking for some nice white mary-janes or something along those lines... well the shoes I kept seeing had heels!!! yes!! Not a whole lot but I dont think my 2 yr old needs heels and not even my 6 yr old!!
Why is that?? Why do they make things like that?? And I usually have a hard time buying clothes for my oldest, I want her in nice clothes but AGE APPROPRIATE!! I dont want her to be dressed like a mini adult-with short skirts, and short tops... I see the kids at the mall and I cringe!! There was this little girl at the mall couldnt have been older than 7, with a mini skirt, a shrug, and high heeled shoes-no they werent her mom's- and all I kept thinking was how do you moms of girls out there dress their girls? What have you found that works?? Any suggestions? Ideas??
It's not so much about skin.. in the summer my girls will be wearing shorts and t-shirts and very summery dresses..
It's the fact that a 6 yr old doesnt need heels-if she was 16 I'd understand. and Im not talking about "play shoes" they have those! and I dont mind COSTUMES! It's clothes itself that come with a purse for a 2 yr old for example. In the winter is different because a short skirt can be worn with nice tights and will be fine, it's girls dressed like adults or teenagers that bug me. Not teenagers, that's a whole diff story!
And if a teenager wants to dress to impress a boy it'll make much more sense than a lil girl dressed like she was 17! And it's not just that I dont like it! I find it hard to find nice clothes for my girls!
Ann G thanks for the links!! :)

Here are some darling dresses, pretty inexpensive, too! Http://www.simplymodest.com/

Capezio makes cute little Mary Janes: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/p/7140341/c/72.html or even Target: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/182-4928047-8069148?asin=B001P2MJGU&AFID=Nextag_DF&LNM=More_Categories|Baby|B001P2MJGU&CPNG=baby&ref=tgt_adv_XSN10001

Check a dance store for the shoes - little girls cannot dance in high heels and they have cute little shoes there.

George asks…

Where can I find cheap Easter shoes for my Little Girl?

Hi, I've tried walmart.com, target, old navy, babysrus, gap, childrens place.com, Kmart, Kohls, but they are all out of the size my daughter can fit, I need a size 5 for a toddler, dress church shoes or sandals, and they need to be white in color. Everywhere I look online is either too expensive or they have run out of my daughter's size. Oh yea, and I've tried ebay, and amazon already as well.
Any suggestions?
