Rare Editions is nice for smocked style dresses. For my daughter I love Hanna Andersson, Naartjie, and sometimes Gymboree. Hanna and Naartjie are really great quality and wear like iron.

Where is the best place to buy pageant dresses for little girls?
My daughter is 2 months old. I also like the new pageant style better than the older dresses. I don't really want to pay a whols lot. She will outgrow it in no time. Ya know?

I believe you can go to a flea market and find pageant dresses. My mom found a really pretty turquoise dress for my baby daughter at one of them. Or if you want to shop online, I'm sure eBay have them.
BTW, I think my mom only paid around 25-30 dollars for this dress.
Susan asks…
What do they call the short girls dresses worn by little girls (especially a long time ago - 1960 ish?)?
I was thinking a jumper, bu don't really know. Not mini's, these were more for toddler age and NOT meant for grown up type stuff at all.

Hi back in the 60's they called it the mini skits baby dolls and the hot pants
Joseph asks…
Why do a lot of women dress their little girls in pretty dresses and bows and then put on mens sweat pants ?
and T shirts on their bodies ?
I think we would all be a lot happier if you gals would put on the same style dresses and ruffled panties as you are dressing your daughters in !

How many times are you going to ask this question? Why don't you try wearing ruffles and see how cute and comfortable you'd look...?
