Any Renovating tips for a Girls Room?

well im renovating my room, and i have a day bed, its king single, and its new, i just got notified it had came so i have to get redy, what should i do, lighting/paintings/pictures/furniture, how should i renovate it?

i want it modern, with some space in it, beacuse last time it was carmped?!
i want a soft warm cosy feeling, with space and edge!

canvas paintings as seen on the hills/daddy's girls?

I've been looking for canvas paintings for my house and I saw a few that I liked on the show Daddy's Girls. (The one in there living room with the white background and red circles on it). The Hills also has a lot of nice paintings. I wanted both modern, colorful paintings, and some black and white ones.

Does anyone know where I can find any similar to them????

Why don't you get a canvas yourself and some acrylic paint and copy a Mondrian painting. It can't be that hard? :P

Which one of these paintings is best for a teen girl's room?

I'm 15 and a girl and I want to put some paintings/posters up on my wall since they are literally bare. The walls are light green, I have hardwood floors, and white furniture. Which one of these 4 paintings would go best in the room. I can't decide so please list your favorite. If you could number them in the order you like them that would really help too. Thanks.

Anybody know where the paintings from the show on vh1 My Antonio are from?
When the girls go in the house there is a pink/coral room with beautiful paintings most likely vintage of these pretty pinup girls with a pink background..Please if anyone could give me any information on them i would really appreciate it!!! thankyou!!

I watched the show again and payed special attention to the painting you were referring to on the show. I remembered seeing your question. Indeed, they are mostly of early pinup girls a' la "Bettie Page". Unfortunately, my search engine is NOT working (it's driving me crazy!) so I'm unable to give you any links.

I would start though my googing "vintage pinup girl artwork", "early pinup girl posters", "vintage pinup girl paintings", you get my drift. Vintage pinups have become very popular again especially with girls like Kat Von Dee (is that how you spell her name?) who emulate their style. Google her if you aren't sure who she is (again, I'd provide a link if I could, sorry).

I would even check e-bay for this type of artwork. I'll bet you'll find VERY SIMILAR and maybe even find the same artwork by just doing this, you know? You could also try to contact Vh1 and maybe put "Attn: Set Decerator of My Antonio" or just "Attn: set decerator department". Vh1's website should have some sort of contact information on their main website though it may take a while to find.

Once my search engine is working again, I'm going to look because I'd love to have at least one of those paintings myself! THEY ARE GORGEOUS! My guy friend is obsessed with Bettie Page and he's got a lot of her photos. He made me watch "The Notorious Bettie Page" and it was actually pretty good. She was in the 50's though and I like some of the earlier girls like from the roaring 20's.

I think Antonio came off as rather arrogant. It turned me off but I'm still going to watch the show especially now that "Megan wants a Millionaire" has been cancelled.
