I am painting stripes. What color would go good with purple?
I am a 13 year old girl and I am painting my room a medium shade of purple, but for my accent wall I am painting stripes. What color is best to be the stripes?

Purple and white looks good together.
If white is too "plain" or "dull," Purple would also look good with a lighter/darker shade of Purple.

Help with kids room?
I want to redo my kids room. One is 4 one is 2 and both girls. THe room is painted purple. I am wanting to add some pink and teal into it as well and thought about throwing in some chocolate brown. Would this be too much? THey like stripes so I thought about doing stripes along the bottom of the walls and a solid color on the top. With either a small border between or something to that nature. Any help I would be thankful.

Teenage girl Room help.?(:?
i want to redo my room, without painting it though, im pretty girly but really random so if you have like weird ideas that would be cool. My room is purple, i want a theme but i dnt know any good ones. i WAS thinking of zebra and/or Paris but i dnt know if it would look good because its purple. Anyways, i have shelves but with nothing on them any ideas? My tv is on my wall, i have a dresser, drowers, my bed(full), a small table (were i keep my make up) My room isnt big but it isnt to small. theres a space between my bed and closet i was thinking about making it like a relaxing area, any ideas.?

You should give it a sophisticated look. Keep things fairly simple - only have black and white pictures hanging on the wall. You could get some really nice paints of Marilyn Monroe pretty cheap and it looks chic above the bed and dresser. At Pier 1 they sell small wire mannequins that look really cute on top of your makeup table. If you don't already have a mirror, buy an elegant mirror to hang above the table, as well. A nice floral black and white print comforter would look great on the bed. I am very into decorative pieces for the shelves, something like vases and potpourri and different sculptures. Make two stops - Pier 1 and target. You'll be amazed.

Very cute! I love your idea of putting purple on the walls instead of more pink....don't get me wrong I'm one of those girls who couldn't have too much pink, but I think it would look better with purple. Congrats on your girl!!!
