Teen bedroom crafts or ideas?

Our house was just completed the other day, we put in another bedroom for my little brother. and since everything is out of the rooms at the moment, my parents are letting up redo our bedrooms. I want my bedroom to be a 'green' theme. I was recently reading a seventeen magazine and it has some bedroom crafts in the back, like painting a mural or playing grass seed into a soup can. Do you have any other crafts or ideas that would make my room look better.

BTW, I'm a 16 year old girl.

[also, we don't have money to buy anything expensive, so please don't recommend me to look at pbteen.com or anything]

Paint bamboo reeds and stuff on the walls. It's really calming and cool looking. Wrap chairs in see throughish fabric.have a million pillows with every different type of green and designs. Just look in mags and make them low price cut them

basement bedroom ideas?

basically, my parents moved me to the basement. the floor/walls are painted, but it doesn't look like a bedroom. i can't have anything on the floor (like carpet) because the floor gets wet when it rains or snows. it's a pretty sucky situation, but i wanted ideas to make a basement a little better for a 15 year old girl..? thankss :p

Get an inexpensive area rug that you can roll up if it floods. A bamboo carpet is probably best as you can bring it outside to hose it off. Is the ceiling finished? If not staple up cloth. Are the walls concrete or drywalled or paneled? How tall is the ceiling? If you have ample height you can put pallets in the floor and put carpeting over that this way water will not harm your furniture. If you live in a flood plain there is nothing you can do to make that basement waterproof. Hopefully there is a sump pump in the case that water enters.

bedroom ideas anyone?

i am a 15 year old girl, soon to be 16. i just moved into my new house a few months ago and we're at the painting stage, now that we are done with the yard and exterior. i can't do much decorating until i get that done so i need some help. i have a thing for the color purple, but i would like to have more than one color. which colors go well with purple and how should i paint my walls with those colors?

then i need help with decorating. i don't have a ton of money since my mom is about to have a baby, but she's willing to go little at a time. and my room isn't the biggest you've ever seen either. it's not too small, but there isn't enough room to put in a ton of stuff. I could wait until I've gone through the interior design class i signed up for, but I don't want to wait that long. i also don't want to stick to a specific theme, but i do want to mix in my interests and such which include:

photography
acting
singing
music in general
bright colors
zebras
dance
twilight saga
reading in general
fantasy life (fairies, mushrooms, forests, etc)
vintage style
paris
superheros
and video games

i don't have to include it all since i know it's pretty much impossible, some of those things just do not mix, but i want as much in it as possible. any help will be greatly appreciated (:

Colour:
i would go with your favorite color for the walls just in a lighter shade it makes the room comfortable and fun yet calm and relaxing, as for the other color with purple maybe light pink or blue and i would maybe make a frame with it around where your bed is if you do it right it opens your room up so much more! as far as decotating try this:
i print pics off the computer and i have sayings and stuff around my desk in my room, try maybe pulling the booklet out of your cd cases of your favorite cds and make a colage on your wall(bulletin board) with them i love candles soooo i have a ton all around my room and i have christmas light around the top of my ceiling there purple because thats my fav color they were only like 5$ for a bunch of them just make it all about you!! Bedroom ideas?! HELP!?

I'm a fourteen year old girl and we're moving to a new house this week and I want to paint my room, the problem is I can't think of what to paint it. I really want to do something with zebra print and neon/hot pink. I also like neon blue and purple. Or something maybe pink, white, or black with hello kitty decal. I'm really stuck. But then I was thinking one of those colors and maybe different little decals like hearts and stars and a quote. Any ideas?

Ok so i really like the zebra idea with pink and black. If you dont wanna do too much pink, you could switch the pink to blue, and it would still look really nice! :) I really like this room:
