Bedroom Decor Inspiration

Sharon asks…

Disabled Son Bedroom Remodel ideas needed...I appreciate your great ideas of inspiration! Thank you all?

Disabled adult son (20) wants to re-do his bedroom...it has been several years since current decor, as his mother I am thinking he may like something along the lines of a more grown-up & masculine style bedroom decor. Nothing too wild or overly bright colors. Please remain as budget friendly as possible. Thanks for your great ideas!

That is so sweet.....well I would suggest if you want to paint get browns or greens.....those are adultish but not over the top.

Lamps are also a great way to make the room nice, I would suggest a small desk lamp not a tall lamp.

Make the bedspread have a nice pattern on it like stripes or checkers or overlapping squares but definitively not flowers and nothing plain.

Put some games and puzzles he might like in his room, that way it is accessible and he can go to it whenever.

Paintings are also a great way to liven up the room because your son might be able to just look at it and focus on it. Remember nothing has to be PRICEY!!

Put something he likes or is interested in. I have a collection of hot wheels in my room that are displayed. (I am a girl) Just an idea!

Hope you have some luck!!!

Bedroom Decor. Please, HELP!!?

My parents are letting me redo my room, my main colors are Southern Sea blue and Bamboo Matt cream with a few splashes of brown.

But I want to find a bedspread set/collection that matches this rug:

If it helps my main inspiration is nature, but I don't want it to be childish, I'm in my teens. Also if you have any suggestions/links to accessories or the bedspread much is appreciated.

Thanks =D
Oh and if this is also helpful, maybe it would be something that could last a while, mature but fun at the same time, but any suggestions are fine.

Thanks, again! =D
Also my bed is twin sized (have a small room)

thanks! (:

The bohemian look is really cool, the only thing I am not fond of about it is that it can rather often get cluttered looking, so as long as you do not get one of everything it should look great

Mark asks…

Need help finding some inspiration for an earthy/hippie bedroom?

I am "moving rooms", and I need some help to find some bedsheets, rugs, lamps, clocks, curtains.. anything for my new room. I think I want it to be really earthy, kind of hippie-ish?

All I have found is these lamps that I really love. I want my room to have this kind of feel:

I just need some help finding some images for inspiration. Thanks!
Oh, and I really don't want it to be 'lame hippie'... like - no peace signs, psychadelic colours, smiley faces, swirls...... I just want my room to be earthy.

admin answers:

The Fair Isle pattern was always very popular and velvets....paisley....
