There are many colors that you could use such as lighter shades of green, avocado, you could layer some gold with the green, not to mention that creme and varieties of green work well together, you could also go into lemon yellow's and lavenders even down into the pinkish area, you can peak into the rose area also tapping into some of the orange or tangerine mixtures, your working with a beautiful color so you should not have any problems, when your finish, pat yourself on the back and say job well done, btw tan's and browns work in your decorations, good luck and hope this has helped.

how to decorating the girl room?
with nice painting and the right accessories for girls.
admin answers:
Pick a color scheme. It must be colors that the owner of the room will like. Keep in mind this isn't necessarily their favorite color, it's the color that they would like to live in. Make sure that the accessories for shelving and bedding fit the girl's personality. Most girls no longer go for the frills or polka-dots. Trying a beach theme is nice, or dark warm tones is always nice.
Try to make the room feeling spacious and open. No cheesy wallpapers or bright orange suns on the wall!!

Teenage girl room decorating help, please? :)?
I'm moving into a partially furnished house, and my new room's quite small actually.
The floor, wardrobe and side table are all wooden and I want to decorate my room in black, pink and white basically but I really don't know how cause I'm not allowed to paint anything.
What do you suggest? A white rug? Or black? Or pink?
What kind of curtains, bedding, pillows? What can I add to make my room look funky and hot pink, black? :) like kind of punkish but mostly just girly!
admin answers:
Well, if the room is small you should organize things in boxes. You can get empty cigar boxes for a buck at tobacco stores and send away for 10 for 10 bucks on line. You soak the paper off, sand and paint them. You can get paper mache boxes in craft stores or something almost as good at a dollar store and maybe ask for some produce crates at the grocery store to paint. Maybe you could do the orange crates black, the cigar boxes pink and the paper mache boxes white. That way you can organize things so you can find them and get boring looking things like paper clips and loose change out of sight. If you know how to hook rugs, get one where you can make your own pattern or make a plain black one. If you like white girly looking curtains and similar sheets, you could have a pink blanket for summer and a black one for winter. If you want pictures of your friends, get plain wooden frames that you can paint black, white and pink.

What are some good decorating tips for a teenage girl room?
I wanted to change up my room a little bit. But I don't have the time to paint it and buy new furniture. Do you have any oranization things or supplies I could make or buy? (Nothing too expensive please!!) Thanks for your answers!

Sometimes just changing your bedding and adding a focal point can liven up your room.
Buy a new duvet cover or comforter from a place like Ross. Ross or TJ Maxx has some great deals on bedding and linens, and the prices are great.
Add an organization center to your wall. You can put notes, pictures, and favorite souvenirs all together in one space like this http://www.potterybarn.com/products/daily-system-white/?pkey=ckitchen-laundry-organization. Use the pottery barn as an example, you can put together your own for much less.
Add a large focal point to your floor, such as a comfy area rug. An area rug can pull your room together. Add a rug such as this http://houseofarearugs.com/Nolita-1310-Black-And-White-p-216.html if you like Zebra print or a softy, fluffy, shag rug like this http://houseofarearugs.com/Pastel-Violet-Flokati-2000g-p-393.html if you like a solid color.
