Any ideas?I am Decorating my room!Theme:Pink,Girlish,Romantic =)?

1)Bookshelf
I have a bookshelf which is build in,it is like a wooden plank.1 layer only.But i don't know what to do with it because i don't like displaying books and soft toys on it.What can i do to it?

2)Turn my room into a romantic place.
Any ideas?what should i add?Now,my room is pink in colour.With white lights.It is not possible for me to change them.I need them for studies.But i longed for orangy lights or coloured ones.How?
Tell me what can i add to make my room better,more girl-ish.

My daughter gets shoe boxes from the shoe store (free if you ask) and esp loves the baby shoe boxes. She takes photos of friends and prints them on regular paper and also collages them all with photos from magazines. She uses stick glue to put on picts and then wide postal clear tape to seal boxes. They are great and it would be a fun room accent on your shelf. You can also use hat boxes etc-check Ross. They always have them. We glued beads onto her lamp shade and painted the base black. All her bedding is b/w mix. Some from fabric-I sewed pillows. Some from Kmart, some from linens and things-you get the idea. The inspiration came from Alloy.com. Also check out (pottery barn) PBteen.com and other sites. HGTV.com is great and has a huge library of photos. Go with a shabby chic look. My daughters is more vogue/paris fashion I think and her walls are pale pool blue.

Please Please Please please help me! Decorating ideas for a two girls sharing a bedroom.?

I need some help. Im the oldest sister and me and my sister are each gettting twin beds. What colour scheme should I go with. A colour that we both like . What do you think of pink and orange. Like not too little kid girly. She's 7 and Im 11. Any Ideas. Also I really want to make some make it yourself crafts that could decorate the room. Thanks is advance to all the upcoming ideas. I can also sew and can borrow my mom's sewing machine. So, it can be any Do it yourself craft. My mom can also help make it for me but I want to try doing this on my own.

I'll just give one idea and hopefully you'll get a few more.

Get 2 netted canopies like this one from Target.

Then get get fake flowers from any craft store in whatever your color scheme is. Sew the flowers on to the canopy in whatever arrangement you wish, but I suggest putting lots of flowers at the top with fewer and smaller flowers at the bottom. That way, it will look like it's raining flowers on you.

Hang them over your beds and you're done.

Room Decorating Ideas and Organization?

Hey, I'm looking for room decorating ideas. I have a comforter and it is from Seventh Avenue and it is shaggy fur and the colors are pink purple,and lime green. I Am a huge girly girl and I LOVE anything PINK!!! I have like a light beige color carpet and my room is big, but i have slanted walls because we changed the attic into a room. But the room is nice. I have purple walls and a white ceiling. I already own a desk from seventh avenue and it is purple iron. And my bed matches it the same way. I am also into polka dots, I need like a seating area in my room, but i don't want like chairs, andif you have recomindations for chairs they have to be small but comfy. I'd preffer bean bags, I just need help finiding low price and good quility beanbags to match my color scheme of pink, purple, and lime green. My curtains are polka dot and new so i don't need any new ones. I just need an idea for more storage space, that is uniue. I already have a closet with fold up doors, But i need more space for clothes, but i already have a chest of droors. Well, really I'm just looking for decor and a like really cute lighting.

Now to organization.
The whole pont in having a cute room is to be able to keep it clean, and see the cuteness of it. I need ideas on how to keep my room organized, and simple. And i don't want boxs' in my room. Does anyone know a place with cute baskets?
Anyone who can help it would be greatly appreciated.
