This question is great because you're just like me!!! When I changed my room, I moved around my furniture (new look) and made some changes. I painted my walls bright green and got a new bed comforter, etc. My comforter is a big fluffy white one, with pink and white stripped sheets and pillows. I also have solid pink sheets with flowers too for when I change them and a pink blanket (matching the sheets) folded at the foot of my bed. You are on the right track because it looks ADORABLE!!! I went to the Container Store, and I bought all kinds of lime green and pink (more pink since the walls are green) decorations in my room such as polka-dot boxes for stuff and baskets. I have shelves up on the walls near my ceiling that have flower indentation trimming on them. Me and my dad painted it white and where the indents are with all the flowers, we filled it in with lime green. It looks great and I have all these little trinkets up there that I've loved since I was little, but the new way of displaying them makes it look more mature. I also have a big fluffy white beanbag thrown into my room too, which is super cool and pictures in frames of all my horses on the walls to take the place of all my little-kid posters. I'm fifteen so I'm extremely satisfied with it. Everyone always tells me that my room is so cheerful and sunny- which is exactly what you are looking for! Go pink and green!!! :) Good luckkk!!! =]

Well depending on her likes you could go to jc penney, kohls, wal mart, macys, or even victorias secret websites. Another good site is pbteen or wakeupfrankie. You go hawaiian, fashion, sports, party setting, bright, neon, and punk. There are tons of ideas depending on her style. If she likes fashion get framed artwork from allposters.com. If she is into sports hang her old uniforms on the walls. Colors can be anything but light colors are the easiest to work with. These are some suggestions. Hope this helps!

Thirteen Year-old Girl looking for room ideas?
Okay. So I am a teenage girl looking for some room ideas. Even though I am a teen, I like more sophisticated stuff. I am insane with having my room clean 24/7, so nice, clean looking colors would be nice. My style is not flowery, pink, princess, or polka dots. I love animals and nature, and also glass and pale yellows and whites. I would want a desk or something where I could do my homework. My room is kind of smallish, and the one piece of furniture I know I am keeping is my bed, which is a super tall, white-washed, double-sized captain bed.

I say you talk to your mom into taking you shopping & just walk down the aisles of where the furniture stuff is & just grab it & buy when you see something you like. Eventually it will build up & you will love your room.

Teenage girl room ideas?
I'm thirteen and I'm redecorating my room. I know I'm doing it red, black, and white. I also know that I want red and black checkered floors. My room is huge. I want it to be kinda like an alice in wonderland feel (Tim Burton). But not overdone. The creepy alice in wonderland, not all happy>:). oh, and my cousin is temporarily staying with us (by temporarily I mean she's been here since october, and probably won't leave until august) for foster home crap, so ive got 2 bedds in my room for awhile:(. I need some ideas. Help???

Red and black checkered floors? Go with black/white - you will thank yourself later!
If you do B+W floors, you have a lot of options with red bedding, red furniture, curtains, rugs.... Lots!!
