Im guessing you have to attach a lot of ikea wall cabinets to the wall but to make it more original install them all at an angle
Donna asks…
cool wall designs for teenage girl...?
i'm looking for a wall design - not decorations - for a 15 year old girl. the bedroom has one black wall and four pink ones, and i need something for the pink ones. i don't want anything you have to buy - i just want to paint something on the walls with the black. it's not a girly room, not punk, it's just your average girls room.
thanks !

City... It would be cool to draw buildings and leave some windows pink like its sunrise or something... Also building dont need to be perfect square... Make them weird shapes and heights... Have fun with painting
Maria asks…
Some help with designing a teenage girl's bedroom?
My bedroom is reasonably large (i dont know the exact dimensions) and has a beige cupboard occupying a whole wall, a window and a door opening to a small balcony, both on the wall exactly opposite. I have a charming single white bed here, and the window has curtains which are blue-black with a white creeper design. I am planning to buy a desk for this room. Just wanted some tips on how to keep this room charming, with maybe accents of red here and there. I'm looking for something artsy and bright, but also cosy (doesn't have to look airy and spacious) and maybe even vintage in some ways. I'm soon to be 15 and like art and music, if that matters, because I'm looking for something that really suits me.
I dont want the elements already described, like the cupboard, bed and curtains to be removed at all.
I basically want to know what kind of study table I should buy and of what colour, to go with the beige cupboard and white bed, that I can't dispose of.

Beach cottage theme.. Im trying to convince my daughter to go with this theme also. Beige, pale blue or greet walls (there are specific paint colors named for this) white trim and furniture.. Natural fibers, and so on.... So pretty.
Robert asks…
Would this bedroom design look good for a teenage girl?
Okay, So I have 3 gray walls already and the other one is green. I was going to paint the green one like a fall orange and then paint a dark brown tree on it. The tree will curve around and coming off will be a fall colored green leaf. Next, I will have a bed from Ikea very low to the ground and I will have a desk from ikea also. The furniture would be black. My carpet is brown. The bedding I would have is also from Ikea and it is like cream colored with sort of fall leaves on it and it is brown, orange, and gray. What do you think of this bedroom design? would it look good? thanks!
admin answers:
Nice color scheme...clever design. And the bedding will make a wonderful focal point.
(I'm partial to autumn and earth colors....very soothing and cozy!). Enjoy!!!
