Teenage Room Decorating/ storage space?

I am 17 still living at home for now. We live in a good sized apartment and i have a pretty good sized room. I would say close to an 12X10 maybe give or take a bit. Im looking for things to in my room to organize it. Now i have not alot of money since i only work 15 hours a week and all my money besides my side babysittin money goes in the bank. My bed is on the floor. I just decided i would try that to give it a different look. I have kind of a floral bedding one side is green the other tan w/ flowers. a blue tv stand, black sorda vanity (home made verison) s moon chair (huge) and a table that moves which i put my fan on and a 3 drawer storage bin. Small closet which i have tons of clothes and no dresser. and Two mirrors. Not much on walls but have tons of pics that i need to blow up and hang. 2 windows with thin blankets over them (ninja turtles and a croched one tacky i would say) I need help! someone please help me! im more of the relaxed time. Im a gamer but yet a huge girly girl.

I need help decorating my kids room with a video game theme.?

My kids (1 boy and 1 girl) love the Nintendo wii, mainly super mario brothers. I would love to decorate their room in a game theme. So far the only thing I can come up with is. My daughter which is 6 years old drew pictures of Mario, Yoshi, Toad, Indiana Jones plus she is going to draw some more and I would like to frame them and display them in their room. But so far this is all I came up with. I am very surprised Nintendo hasn't made a bedspread with the wii logo or even with Super Mario brothers out so long, I would of thought they would of had one with the characters on it. Please help I need ideas and cant do anything too expensive. Thanks everyone

You can also print pics of the characters onto iron on transfers, and put onto throw pillows.
I wasn't able to find bedding, but you could use a pic of the characters, and go to one of those places where you can put a picture on a throw blanket. Http://www.printablememories.com/photoblankets.html
(how cute would it be to have your kids dress up as mario characters, take their picture, and put it on a throw blanket, then just get a solid comforter in matching hues, and put the throw over it)

decorating a room retro style?

i'm a 14 year old girl and my parents and I are trading rooms. my room will be quite large and a rectangular shape. it has two alcoves - one for my desk area and another for wardrobes. i will have a single bed, desk, shelves, 2 wardrobes, a sofa bed, and a bedside table in my room. i have a lot of artwork i would like to put up on the walls. i'm wanting to decorate my room retro style, i like old comics and games like pacman and space invaders. i love comic book characters like batman etc, and i love vogue and vintage models. does anyone have any tips on how to decorate my room like this?
please help
any new answers within 10 minutes will recieve more points
and i can't paint any patterns on my walls. just plain walls with pictures up, so any accessory ideas would be good

Find someone who can draw cartoon characatures....
Collect images that you would like to have all together... Then have them sketch and paint a mural on the wall of all the different elements. Have the models looking beautiful in situations of distress where the cartoon characters are coming to their rescue.
Then have some of the comic book characters just posing and hanging out in the picture.


Design it as an oversized Pacman grid.
Pacman is moving along the grid chomping along ...(perhaps chomping at Wonderwoman's head.)
At the bottom of the picture on the opposite corner... Have Mrs. Pacman hanging out there ... Waiting for her 'gentleman'.

In the open spaces of the Pacman grid... Have the other characters hanging out... Sitting on the lines... Climbing the walls... Yanking on the powerpellets.... Eating the power pellets... Crawling on the floor looking for a way out....

The ideas are endless.

Hi! You could try wall decals. They come in all sorts of designs and colors. Themed string lights or paper lanterns would also work.
