How to decorate a hunter green room into a kids room?
We just moved into a rental home. So excited but one of the bedrooms is HUNTER GREEN! That's not even the worse part. It has a deer at a pond border going all the way around the room. Its a guys type room. I don't have any boys just girls and we want to turn this into the play room. We got them a multi colored pink and purple lamp and a purple carpet to try to lighten it up. But does anyone have any other ideas. No we can not paint. Thanks for your time!

You could hang lines (either retractable clothes lines, or tension rods), to drape curtains or fabric from, around the entire room.
Where is the wallpaper border at? If it is at the top, you could hang valances around the room to cover that and leave the rest of the walls green (see below)- either white so it would blend in with the ceiling or perhaps a cloud print.
With the green walls, you could use accessories to give it a fairies in the forest theme/feeling.
Have you asked about painting? It is not very expensive, and you could present it as your doing an upgrade FOR the landlord and that make him/her more open to it.

Painting the kids bedroom...?
4 kids will be sharing a bedroom. 2 boys both (4) and 2 girls (5) and (7). They are siblings and my friend only gets to have them once in a while but still wants to fix up a room for them thats theirs. Anybody have any ideas how we can paint and fix the room up?Any theme ideas that will work for both genders?

If your looking for accessories you could check out http://www.etsy.com or http://www.dreamlandcrafts.etsy.com/ you can find some really awesome handmade items on these site in just about any color scheme. And a lot of times if you find something you like but not the color you want the shops on this site have really nice people that are usually willing to work with you.
I would also suggest looking around your local thrift stores for accessories you can find some really great deals.

Joseph asks…
whats a good idea for re painting my room? (colour, style, patterns etc.)?
im a girl but dont want overly feminine colours, want it to be stylish, fun, bright or just to stand out slightly as oposed to neutral colours and plain style. im a teenager so nothing for younger kids

It depends on what color your bedspread is. Just pick a color that's in there. If you have a black bedspread, use a light color, and if it's white use a dark color. It'll give you some contrast. A good color for a girls room is purple or blue.
