Room Design For Teenage Girls

Photobucket

Donna asks…

Teenage girl's room design help?

I need help planning a room for my teen daughter. Her room space is limited and so is our budget. We have a bed, bookcase, desk, and dresser already for her. She wants it to be a mix of the styles of Ancients Rome and Modern Paris. We have a color (Chintz Rose) and wall designs (gold Roman architecture like stickers) but we would like more help finding decorations and such. We need a chair, a mirror, bed spread, pillows, and a lamp. She would also like vintage looking picture frames. We have a few hundred dollars to spare right now, so please, if you know any good ideas or know where to get such things ( Lowes, K-Mart, Walmart, online) please tell. Our deadline is the first week of November. Thanks!!
*Reminder* The room is really small, it's like the size of 2 and 1/2 walk in closets.

Ikea is great for cheap and trendy furnishings! Check them out.

Mandy asks…

how do you design a bedroom for two teenage girls?

i have a best friend who lives down the street from me.
we are like sisters, we spend like every possible minute with eachother.
we have sleep overs at least 5 nights together every week.
i wanna make my bedroom a little more for two people rather than just me.
we're gonna do this to her room as well...but we both have semi small rooms...
i need help!

If you have room, you can push two twin beds into a corner in an L-shaped fashion. It would work as a daybed/sofa during the day. Then you guys can crash on them at night. If your room is really small - one of those builder's standard 10'x10' rooms, you may have to go with bunk beds.

Richard asks…

How Much do u think this room desing whould be?

Real cute, very IKEA. Glad you limited the hot pink to accessories.

Thomas asks…

Teenage girl room ideas?

I'm designing a room for a teenage girl. Walls are yellow. There is about a empty space of about 5 foot. What do you think I could put there anywhere from 20$-100$

admin answers:

Posters of her favorite singers or something that interest her. My grandchild loves horses so we used that theme.
