I need Help choosing pink and purple paint for girl's room?

I have not ability to choose colors or decorate. I need help choosing the paint colors that will coordinate together. I want to do half of the wall in pink and the other in purple with a chair rail. Anyone have any picutres of something similar? Can you share the paint colors you used? Help!

I would go with pink since there are so many pink things u will find to decorate her room, you could paint the 3 walls with pink and in one paint with a sea sponge. I have a 6 and 4 year old who share a room? It's currently a pale yellow but I'm pretty sick of seeing yellow, and their bathroom is also yellow and blue. Could I get away with a purpley-blue color for their bedroom?

Painting my room purple?

I am painting my room purple, it looks pretty good except i heard that the color purple is a symbol for being gay. I am not gay but im afraid that painting my room that color will make it look like i am. By the way i am a girl, so i don't know if its purple that's gay with guys it or with everyone. Im so confused!
