Any fun room decor ideas?

I simply don't know what to do with my room. It's very bare and i would like to do something interesting with it. I like space, and magic, and gardens, and sunshine, and Game of thrones, and Doctor Who. That all sounds real silly (and I feel a bit like the girl in Mean girls "Why can't we just bake a cake with rainbows. . .") but I really do enjoy those things and would love to do something to incorporate some of them into my room. Any fun ideas are welcome. I really just want it to look whimsical and full of light.

Room decor ideas!! I have a bad imagination! lol help?

I'm moving into a new house soon and get to completely pimp out my room lol so I wanted to get some new ideas for what to do... I LOVE the ocean so I was thinking of doing like a beach kinda theme. Any ideas on how to go about it?
Or if you just want to throw out random decorating ideas, here are a few things I love:
The colors lime green and black.
Music.
The ocean/beach/marine life.
Animals in general.
Bright, funky, colorful things that stand out lol
Movies/video games
I'm 16 by the way so I'm not looking for the kind of stuff that my grandma would like but I'm not a girly girl so no pink frilly frufru stuff lol
Any cool ideas how to paint my room and what colors and how to use them?
Lol or anything at all?
I'm completely open to any ideas :D

Ohhh and this room is pretty big and I want to make one part of it kinda like a rec room where my friends and I can jsut chill, relax, watch tv, play games so ig that helps inspire you then go for it lol :D

So, if you have one of those wood things that goes around the walls of your room and splits the wall (I don't know what its called) , I would put wave wallpaper on the bottom, and lime green paint on the top, with Hawaiian flowers and colors for your bed duvet or comforter, and some shells random places, like on your window sill, hanging in a cute colored hollowed out lantern hanging on your wall, or on strands on the wall or (if you have them) around your bed posts. Oh, put some cute turtles and tropical fish things places too. Then, in the hang part of the room, put a comfy low couch, and some bean bag chairs (a classic fave) and if you have a T.V., get a console where you can store movies an a D.V.D. Player. Ah, I can see it now...
