Any ideas for a teen room for a girl?
Im in middle school and im re-doing my room... I looove lime green and zebra patterns. I was thinking of doing a green room with a pink border and a zebra bed spread. Now that im thinking about it it seems a little to kid-ish. I was also thinking about using polka dots or something like that. So do you have any ideas of a room with those things in it but its not to kiddy ?
thanks.

How do I redo my room on a very, very low budget?
I'm a 13 year old girl and my room still has a bunch of little kid stuff in it from my child hood. I'm going to sell all of that stuff for new, more mature stuff but I need ideas. I want it mature, but not boring and I love colors but they need to go together and can't be too bright. Can you give me some links PLEASE? I'm desperate. If not, ideas are great, too. Thanks so much!!

Look at salvation army and goodwill, be willing to paint the , you can get a bunch of mismatched furniture, paint it all black and then add color with bedding etc and if you pick right that furniture could last you a long time, old furniture can look rough and scuffed up but it wil outlast cheap stuff bought new

Christmas for three little girls?
My husband and I haven't spoken to my mother in law in months upon months. Just recently we started talking to her again as well as my sister in law. They live together and my sister in law has three little girls. Twins age two and one who's maybe 8 months old? We haven't seen these girls since they were born and just recently met the 8 month old.
They don't have a lot of money and the girls don't have much at all. So my hubby and I are wanting to do some Christmas for them even though we are on a tight budget. I am buying a Toy Box off Craigslist this afternoon and want to fill it with wrapped presents. I've gotten them some coloring books, crayons, baby toys for the little one, one of those writing boards shaped like a frog, a movie and a few books for kids.
Any other cheap ideas to put in the toy box? They don't have a lot of room there, so I am trying to keep it to small stuff that will fit in the box and can be kept there when they aren't being used. I have no kids... so to be honest, I am not sure what on earth to get that's on the cheaper side.

Babysitting ideas for 9 and 6 year old girls?
I just finished babysitting two girls. All we did all day was watch movies on Netflix instant. They thought it was really boring, and so did I. But I couldn't think of anything to do! They made plenty of suggestions:
9 year old: We could play Monopoly.
Me: That's a little abstract for your sister.
6 year old: We could go in your room with the laptop.
Me: That didn't turn out great last time.
And so on. I didn't say these things about their suggestions just because I didn't want to do those things. I could never do that. The reasons were REAL.
By the way, they come to my house.
I'm 13, and the youngest child, so all of our little kid toys are gone (Moving a year ago did not help with this.)
I don't have any money and they are pretty well behaved, and I just mean like games with household objects and games like simon says and mother may I, NOT board games. I also need them to be easy, but not something a nine-year-old wouldn't want to do.
Thanks! I'll be happy to add details if needed :)

Let me tap into my inner child, Thumb wrestling, rock paper scissors, hand games like slide, have dance time, play hangman, Tic Tac Toe, I spy, play dress up, make cookies, name that tune, musical chairs, go fish with regular cards same concept just prepare the deck, or you could play this card game called piggy, first have someone other than you pick out three sets of the same suit (You or the girls should not know what the matchs are) They will also pick out 4 or 5 random cards that are not in the suit. (3As, 3Js, 3Ks, 7, 10, 5, 2, Q), The object of Piggy is to get all three of the same cards in your hand at one time before anyone else. The dealer shuffles the deck of 14 to 15 cards and passes them around face down no on touches them. The commands are Piggy pick up (all players pick up the cards they have been dealt), Piggy put down (all players take one card out of their hands and place it face down on the table, Piggy pass (all players pass the card to the person on their left) Piggy pick up (pick up the card you have been passed) then its the same as before put down, pass and Piggy (when you have all of a matching suit)
